Hey Josh! I feel the need to share this... being a ten club member since '06-only joining after seeing PJ in Hartford, and hearing all the talk about the bene's of membership. This year PJ FINALLY came back to Hartford, and hearing that the show was coming I kept waiting for the e-mail info on member tix. It never came. I can't tell you how pissed I was. I had gotten heads-up about shows in Amsterdam, Ireland, Hawaii, special deals on hotels for members on the other side of the world, but nothin' on the show here. I was 41 y.o. the last time they were here, and had a hard time finding someone to go with me then, so I figured this time I'll get 1 fan club seat and sit amongst new friends. I contacted the ten-club people and they said it must be my computer's e-mail. Anyway, I'm not giving up, but I'd like to see them again before I'm 50. Thanks for listening! Chris

The whole band were in a zone Esspeacialy eddie

You are awesome! I was there too. My 8th time seeing them. Yes yes yes, join the ten club and get closer and closer every tour. Also, when you are in the fan club seats the energy is nuts. Well worth the 20 bones a year. Sheesh, I sound like I am hawking PJ memberships, not the case. Join the club, get the seats and you will see.

Josh

This was my first Pearl Jam concert, my first outdoor concert, and the first concert of any kind that I had been to in 12 years. Growing up in the 60's, I didn't even know anything about Pearl Jam until my daughter got into them. It didn't take much listening to make me a fan too. I love everything they put out. When I found out that 3 of my kids were going to see them, I was so jealous. I kept thinking how much I wanted to go too and how inappropriate it would be for a 53 year old to tag along with her kids to a concert. Finally, on the big day, I realized that nobody was holding me back but me. Luckily I was able to get tickets online for me and my husband and we went. This was his first concert ever and I was unsure if he would like it. Too make a long story get to the point...We all had a wonderful time in spite of the weather and having been up since going to work the night before. The crowd put out a lot of positive energy, Pearl Jam was fantastic, and sharing this experience with my kids on Mother's Day weekend just put the icing on the cake. We sang and danced and enjoyed it to the max. I had to watch the monitors because even though we were on the front row of the lawn, I was too short to see over the people in the pavilion, but hey, PJ was there and so was I! The very next day, I joined Ten Club, and I will do whatever it takes to see them again the next time they come around. Thank you, Pj (and the gods of Indiana :-)!)

My very first Pearl Jam show!! Flew in from Puerto Rico for it, and am so glad I did. A wonderful experience!!! I actually got to shake Eddie's hand at the end!

Saw the show a month ago and I bought the CD and have been reliving it everyday since. I swear people are looking at me funny when I'm belting out "Release" in my truck. That song alone was worth the price of admission.

My favorite line of the show is when Eddie let the crowd sing "Betterman" and announced "you're fucking hired". Only to be topped by McCready stating how much he fucking loves the midwest. I'll never forget it. Thanks guys (and mother nature) for making it one hell of a night.

Goin Back to Indiana,BABY!!! When Pearl Jam does!!! Great show!!!!

Anyone know when this show will be available on mp3 bootleg?

Wow...where do I start?! This was by far one of the most amazing PJ shows I've been to. Took a tiny roadtrip with my best friend and met up with some friends from Chicago. Our seats were spectacular- 8th row...I guess 7th time's a charm!! They opened with Release...oh my eyes were not dry after "oh dear dad, can you see this now?" (my best friend just lost her dad unexpectedly on March 15th). Elderly Woman- LOVE. Force of Nature was pretty necessary regarding the weather we all experienced before, during, and after the show! Just Breathe was...well, nothing I could say to describe it would do it justice! It was BEAUTIFUL...tears were streaming down my face. There was so much energy in the air. Everyone was singing like we were all reading from the same book...Indy 5/7/10 definitely turned out to be one of my favorite stories.

Still patiently waiting....

pearl jam... thanks so much for an epic show you truly are the greatest band ever. keep rocking cant wait till next time

I have never been to a show where the crowd sang so beautifully! It wasn't screaming. It was singing. The weather was windy and cold but when Eddie started with Release it all seam to fade. With the first OHHH.. It seamed that my body opened up and the music and his voice carried my soul to the heavens! All these emotions stired up from the time I first heard this song as a teen. Then I had all the world to listen and study each lyric and note and relate as best I could to the music I loved. To go to a show and hear a band who's sound is just as good as the day I first heard them is awesome!!

Thank you PJ for stopping in our little spot in world! We love you! And thanks for the Release:)

Can't put into words what an amazing show this was !!! Great energy all around. Last saw them @ Deer Creek in 2000 where my husband proposed to me front row Stone's side. Came back 10 years later and Eddie handed me his tambourine during Alive. Thanks PJ for always making memories that will last forever!!

Wow, it's been over a week and I still get goosebumps thinking about the show. What an AMAZING show, amazing crowd, and amazing energy from the boys. Who else cried tears of joy that night? I know I did!

wow...i can't believe they played release! in all the years i've been going to see them, i have never heard that song live. i have hope now that maybe they will play it next week!!! lol

PJ and Ten Club

It has taken me a week to send you this sincere thanks. I was at the Noblseville show and am #34***. Everyone kept asking me what my number was and I did not know. I have been in the Ten Club for over 15 years, when it used to be a $10 club. I was in row 12, and 11 the last two times PJ came to Indy. this year row 5. I was so excited, it has been 7 years. Then I found out that row 5 in section A really was the front row!I was so excited, I was telling everyone I knew. I do not know if I got lucky in the lottery or it was my Ten Club # that put me there, but this was an unforgettable experience. Right in front of McCready. Against the barricade. He was amazing, so energized and intense and funny. I have seen PJ 5 times now and this was the best by far. Got some great pics of Mike and Jeff, and some of Eddie. I had some much fun, no voice afterwards, sore for 2 days. My favorite songs were Got Some, Unthought Known -- great emotion from Eddie, Down, The Fixer, Given to Fly -- could not stop going crazy on that one great emotion by everyone and the crowd, Betterman, and of course Alive. Met some Ten Club new friends from New York. My Wishlist is that everyone could have this same experience at least once in the front row. Truly unforgettable. Thank you Pearl Jam forever for this night. I cannot put into words how incredible it was.

they played star spangled banner to close it out.

awesome show... felt good to jump around with fellow pearljam fans I didnt know who they were, but I im happy to call them brothers and sisters. My vocal cords are still a little hurtin. they played some of my favorites in my tree, down, wishlist and off he goes... in the back of my head I was wishing for rain...

to all the 10c members that are complaining...get over it! it's pearl jam people! as long as you're there that's all that matters!!!
PJ-thanks for a GREAT show after all these years!

WOW! It's been four days since the show, and I STILL cannot believe the pure awesomeness that we all just witnessed! =) I've been to all of PJam's shows at Deer Creek, and this was by far the best! Despite the super-cold wind, lightning, and the delay, it was one of the best nights of my life!! The setlist could not have been any better! Eddie and the boyz ROCKED OUT harder than ever. And even though they had nothing to do with the weather, they made the dalay up to us.. they played TWO unbelievable encores... Rats, WMA, Why Go... and opened with Release... seriously, the setlist was amazing.. I wish I could get that whole thing on DVD!!! Thank God the rain passed over, and Pearl Jam kicked ass more than I could ever dream! THANK YOU SO MUCH for coming back and giving us all a night to never forget! We've missed you... and I'm holding you to the "coming back sooner" deal! ;) TRY TO FIT US IN AT THE END OF SUMMER!!! please? :) Bottom line - the band gave us the greatest show possible! Thanks for everything you guys do, and can't wait till you come back.. muah!

I don't understand the complaining on the line to get our 10c tickets as I showed up about 1:45pm. The windows opened a little late at like 2:03 or 04, but I didn't hear anyone complain. I counted about 30 people in line at that time and the wait was very short. The sun was out at that point and it was nice. I have no complaint to 10c, and so I had to wait for a few minutes. I'm cool with that.

Now, having said that....remember TICKETMASTER SUCKS and they still SUCK....if they aren't a monoply then Parker Brothers makes automobiles for the Indianapolis 500. Now, I challenge all members to find the shows with the crowd and band shouting Ticketmaster sucks. To help I will add the Bad Religon show at Soldier Field in Chicago, and now turn your amplifer up to eleven!! Enjoy the music, and long live Rock be it dead or alive!!!! Feel free to play air guitar anywhere!!

Just a note to the Ten Club, which is the greatest fan club that I've ever been in, the last song (instrumental)was a cover of Jimi Hendrix's version of The Star Spangled Banner and Mr. McCready did a great job. No blood, no foul and it is no huge deal, but lets not forget our lead guitarist for a great job. This concert was an awesome show as the crowd was energized (The last show in Indianapolis/Noblesville was April 2003), and the ten clubbers were ready for some serious fun. Band of Horses played a good set, and I compare them to the Flying Burrito Brothers. I'm no expert, but they are a solid band that has a bright past and future with their songs and musicianship. Not to sound like a brown noser or anything, but the recording of this show will be worth the bucks. Pearl Jam is always a great show with lots of great songs. I suppose if you are looking for a couple of gems, I really thought Rats and Given To Fly were outstanding. Thanks for the show PJ and, please come back soon to Indy soon at Verizon or Conseco Fieldhouse.

I just realized the pics on the right hand side of the setlist NICE!!!

I must say it has been twenty year since ive seen Pj and what a show it was.WE all can bitch about the weather and the staff but come on the boys made up for it .What a show i wouldnt change a thing. And to add to verizon or deercreek as it will always be in my heart it was the first show of the year so give the staff a little break. Thanks again boys what a night it was fly high my freinds.

Please come back soon. That is too long to wait for a Pearl Jam fix!!

This is the best setlist yet on this tour hands down!

I went to Columbus and Noblesville and thought both shows were awesome! The setlists were great, my seats were great 11th row in Columbus. Thanks for rocking!!!

my first pj show...amazing...flew from Albuquerque and before that from Poland...they are the greatest band ever!!

My friend and I drove from Saint Paul, Minnesota to be there, and it rocked. Thanks to everyone for being cool.

What A nite. They played past curfew, and were fined I'm sure. Good setlist.Didn't play gonna see my friend though damit.LOL! Came in from Florida, and got 2 10c tix 2nd row mikes side.So nice to be on that side for the first time. What a class act these guys R. So glad they played w/ the shit weather as I would of had to hand my tix back over to the 10c or try to sell them on the fly,to get back to work.Much Thanks to Pearl Jam!!! and 10c

RELEASE....'nuff said.

Great show! Can't wait to see them again. It just keeps getting better. And please don't wait another 7 years to come back to Indy.

unbelievable show guys, i'm ready for another one so come back soon!

This show was amazing! Thank you PJ!!! Loved every minute of it! Even the constant wind!

Great show as always guys!! Thanks for making the trip to Indy again! We hope to see you soon!!

Huh, Az. been nice good weather today.

Huh, Az. been nice today.

What a great show, glad they rocked out forever after dealing with all the crowds and shitty weather. Thanks PJ, won't ever forget it

great show. . . .deer creek, while logistically a nightmare, is one of the most historic venues in the country as far as sick shows. . . . .this one was no exception. . . .thanks, pj, for the great memory. . . .

Remember, there aren't a ton of seats at this place compared to say the floor of the United Center. So that's one reason I think older members moved back. Me I had almost identical seats to what I had at United Center last year so yes, I'd say lots of Chicago people traveling on a Friday night made it crowded.

Also we got there around 6 and got tickets pretty quickly.

Oh, the show...setlist seemed a bit disjointed, i'm guessing they changed it at least once before going on.
I liked all the songs, even Wishlist, not my favorite. Off He Goes was great too.

Garden was the original version not the revamp. Sounded great. Supersonic also sounded much better than last year.

What a great show to end my 3 show 'tour' this year! I called the Release opener for this show back in KC on monday :-D

But seriously people, QUIT the bitching people!!!

I'll admit the venue wasnt what I had been hoping for (I heard lots of good about this place), but it wasnt all that bad! Yea the VIP parking was SLOW to leave (note to self - don't pay $25 for this BS VIP parking). There was some feedback from Eddie's Mic (I'm assuming this was wind related, not venue). Overall the music sounded GREAT! And if you want to ensure that you get into the venue in time, do what we did, go pick up your tickets EARLY (they opened at 3pm)... it only took 5 minutes for us, and we had time to go back to the pre-party... problem solved!

Food for thought re: 10C seats---This venue is a short drive from Chicago, so plenty of folks from the city (myself included) go to these 'close' shows. Also, amphitheaters usually have plenty of venue VIP seating, which is usually in the first 15 rows or so (plus boxes)... these factors are going to push your 10C seats back substantially! Same 10C number was 8 rows back in Indy from where they were in STL.

If you want to utilize your 10c number, go to an arena show in a out-of-the-way or less than 'major' city (no offense KC or STL)... my seats were WAYYYYY better for those shows.

And that Noblesville venue logistically speaking absolutely sucks donkey balls. I don't care what anyone else says about it. That lake and winding one way in/one way out garbage is idiotic.

I seriously don't understand the griping about seats. I've been a member for 7 years now and I'm in the 300xxxs and got 20th row in Columbus and 14th row for a show a few years back, and on the floor about 20 rows back for a VFC Tour show. Been to the side of the stage for two shows, and was dead center on the opposite side in Chicago last summer. ALL seats arguably were better than anything I would've paid for through a broker, AND cheaper. You win some, you lose some. I've seen them 13-14 times now and am still waiting to win the lottery, but if I never do, I'm perfectly satisfied with the seats.

whats with all the crying bout seats people u got to c a legendary band. i have been a fan since day one. twenty years ago my seats where not the best. but i was in the door and seeing pj rock. i dnt need to b front row just as long as iam in the building. so thank you guys for your dedication and for comeing to bodunk indiana to c your very loyal fans. o and to verizon wireless you guys need to get your act together or quit chargeing venue fees for a peice of grass

Hey Spartanacus-
I feel your pain. Sometimes it seems that being a 10C member is like being in a caste system (and if you didn't join in the 1990's, you're part of the "untouchable" class!) It's too bad, b/c most of us have been die-hard fans since Ten was released......just never thought to join the fan club back then. I saw the awesome show in KC monday night, but was 33 rows back. Oh well, learned my lesson and will go through a ticket broker next time.

Great show despite the delay! My friend and I talked on the way there about all of the older songs I had never seen live, and they played almost every one of them (Release, Garden, In My Tree, Rats, Why Go, Off He Goes). The new songs were great live as well. Hope they come back Midwest Way before year end. Thanks Guys!

What a great night all around....the skies opened up just in time to see another incredible show. This is the second time I have seen them open with Release and it will NEVER get old. Thanks to the band for another moving experience and I look forward to the next show!

Yeah, I wish I would have joined before my first shows in 1998 instead of after my 2000 shows. I think the 1,2,9,10 random row thing is a good idea (if most of those tix are actually going to 10C members), but I think the main problem is due to the lucky early members who travel with the band taking most of the good seats, no matter where they're playing. Granted, if you're a member for 15+ years, you deserve great seats, but it sucks that people who have been in the club 10-11+ years still aren't making much progress.

The last time I saw them in Indy was years ago, and I had decent seats right behind the soundboard. This time I'm thinking I'm in the lower pavillion for sure...nope...my seats were actually a bit worse this time. Though I did have the railing again, the nice breeze from the right side of the pavillion, and best of all, I got to check out the sign language interpreters (I can hear...it's just that it was cool to watch them work and funny to see them try and keep up with Ed's lyrics).

A solution...more random rows perhaps, but break it down by years of membership. For example, the first 5 rows are for members who have been in 10+ years. Rows 6-10 random for those in 5+ years. Rows 11-15 random for any members. Then 16 on back is totally based on seniority. Also...and I know many will object, but perhaps limit the # of shows you can buy 10C tix for to maybe 3. I think that 3 shows a tour is PLENTY!

Once again, how they do it now is a lot better than before, but I still there are ways to make it a little better.

The primary way is beyond PJ's control though...it would be for all the lucky ones who see 5-10 shows a year and consistently get top 10-15 row seats to take a break and let us other long term members have a crack at decent seats ONCE before either we die, or the band breaks up! ; )
