This was an epic show, my 3rd time seeing them in Vancouver and 7 times total...When Eddie bounced a single ray of light off his guitar and onto the Canadian flag during Porch, I think i lost my mind! Wishlist was incredible, Porch melted my face off and Crown of Thorns was really beautiful. This was my second favorite live version of garden I have ever heard...almost 3 hrs of energy and great music, 32 songs...what more can u say? The greatest Rock band of all time! Thanks again guys, and see u soon I hope....
This was my first actual PJ concert and PJ has been my Fav band since the first time I heard Ten way back in 92. I think that 10 was my first CD purchase. I flew down from the Yukon just to see it cause I knew that that I had to see PJ before I really began to regret it. I was really happy to have made my first show on this tour as they were playing alot of older songs and they are my prefrence anyways. This show was awsome and I am for sure going to try and catch another the next time they come to Van.
Chloe Dancer/Crown of thorns is one of my all time favs and to hear them actually play it was awsome. I was keeping my fingers crossed after I found out they played it in Toronto, and when they started playing it I lost my shit.
Had such an amazing time at the show as always!!!!Danced and sung the night away with my hubby our 8th show together! I can't wait to bring my son next time PJ comes to town, I think it will blow his mind!!!
Love love love Pearl Jam shows-Vancouver Show - Pure Joy- many facemelters - as someone said earlier- Thank You Pearl Jam- and (PS) Thank you for remaining Pearl Jam for 20 years--- I am sure there may have been days or even weeks- when you may have wanted to do something else- but you chose to remain faithful- and we will be forever grateful!
Thank you for playing Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns...unforgettable. Yellow ledbetter and then Little Wing blew me away. I could go through the entire set list and talk about how much I loved each song. Another amazing performance. Will definitely be at the next shows in Vancouver and Seattle!
Thank you on behalf of all the Yukon fans in the North! A whole bunch of us flew down to see the band, even after 20 years of faithful following and many shows, you rocked my world!
Crown of Thorns was the cherry on top!
The last show on the tour was amazing. Highlights.....Stone singing Mankind! I couldn't believe it. I got the chance to see him sing it in 2003 @ the Tweeter in MA. I've loved it ever since hoping he would sing it at all of the other shows. Also, Stone playing drums on Yellow Ledbetter & Matt playing guitar. What a rare occasion & a great sight to see all of the guys having fun. After seeing the documentary & seeing Ed sing Crown of Thorns was amazing and what it means to the guys, was truly outstanding. Eddie also singing Smile. Thank you 10c for the great seats....as usual, not a disappointment.
Thanks for the fantastic show! So much energy and gems! Search and Destroy and Rockin in the Free World were off the chain. And Mankind? One of my favs so I was pumped!!! Lost my mind this show. Thanks!
Took my girlfriend to her first PJ show in Vancouver last night and what an incredibly epic show!! She saw the BEST of Pearl Jam!! Thanks guys for the last 20 years and looking forward to what lies ahead!!
Great great show! They just came out of the gates on fire for six songs before Ed even addressed the crowd. Canadians RULE! Came up from Seattle and was so pumped on the crowd. Lots of rare gems were played, and the Mother Love Bone tribute was awesome. One of my favorites was seeing Jeff play guitar on "Smile". Setlist was incredible, and because BC was the last stop of the tour you could tell they were so relaxed and having so much fun. Search and Destroy w/ Mudhoney was a face melter. Stone taking the drum kit for Ledbetter was all-time. I bet they had a better time then the fans they were laughing and smilig so much.
Thanks PJ for another great time!! The wife and I walked the long road to see this one. I almost fell over during Porch - my favorite jam since day one - and I'm pretty sure we saw Blood even though it wasn't on the setlist; Ed goes easy on those tambourines big boy!! Great city, great fans - shout out to fellow 10C'ers in row 19 -, great seats, and great music from the greatest band of our time!! Thanks again PJ!!!
6 tunes off of No Code...they must have know I was going to this show!!! Usually I don't care for Evenflow but they did a real bang-up job on it last night...great job! I love when they play for half an hour with the house lights on like no one has anywhere to go, hahaha! Best live band ever!
Eddie & the boys never fail to amaze me!! Last nights show in Vancouver was stellar...encore after encore! Wishing it never ended!! Hoping for another show in Seattle sometime in the near future! Much love to Pearl Jam for yet again giving us another GREAT performance!!
Great show! Band members got to play different instruments. At one point Stone was playing the drums
and Matt was playing guitar. Very relaxed, but kicking butt. Some excellent jams and the guitar work was stellar, from Mike and Stone. Fantastic night!
I was so blown away by the show in Calgary, I just booked a ticket for Vancouver to do it all again, but got much closer to the stage this time!!!! :) Can't WAIT!!!!
