It was my fourth PJ concert in Poland and on the last one I had one conclusion - I am farer and farer from the stage on every next concert. Am I getting old or something? :) Nowadays I usually stick to the sound booth, everyone knows that the sound is the best there, right? ;)
I'd been waiting for this show for months and then at the end couldnt make it to be there.
Funny thing, last time i saw you guys live was in 1996 in Warsaw...14 years...loong time...now instead of shaking my head under the stage im dancing to your music with my 8 months old daughter in arms :)Next time we'll go to the show together:)
Thanks for staying real and rock'n roll!
I see that everywhere around the world people are pushing on each other to be closer to the stage. I was on the gig in Hyde Park and after 2 first songs I was forced to quit my one of first line position and go slightly back. i cannot stand against the crowd pushing me on other people. During first song I was in the air, almost flying and it wasn't good. So I went back (like 5 rows from stage) and enyojed rest of the show safely :-) What makes me smile - when I reached my new point Eddie ask public to move back - 3 steps :-) probably he saw us squeezing next to the baricade:-) I regretted that I steped back, but well .. 5th row wasn't so bad :-)
Pearl Jam forced to pause Open'er Festival set to avoid crowd crush
Band try to calm fans during 22-song gig
-------------------------------------------------------
Pearl Jam had to stop their set at Poland's Heineken Open'er Festival last night (July 1) to prevent fans in the crowd from getting crushed.
The band were headlining the first night of the four-day event in Gdynia with a nearly two-hour set.
However, six songs in, lead singer Eddie Vedder appealed to the crowd to stop pushing, saying: "There are lots of young women, it's a steel barricade right next to a young woman's head. Stop that, we can't cope with it.
I don't mean to be the adult here, we're in a band for God's sake. But we care about you, I'm not going to apologize for that."
After the audience responded to his appeals, Pearl Jam were able to complete their 22-song set.
Setlist:

Corduroy
Do The Evolution

I don't know why the setlist isn't posted above and why there is no "Buy CD" or "Buy Digital Download", but I hope it doesn't mean we'll never see a boot from this show.
can anyone put a setlist? I'm jelous that this time I cannot see You guys in my own country, but still happy after seeing You few days ago in Hyde Park. If I can just quit my job and travel after you around Europe and in US it will be a perfect world ! :-)
It's always great to see You in Poland. Even this is not only Your show, guys.
What a perfect coincidence to live in the same time when You make music.
