This is only the second Pearl Jam concert I have been able to attend - EPIC!
I only wish my darling wife could have been there with me. I am a huge fan...she bought me tickets to my first PJ concert...I asked her to come with me for this one...then she dropped a bomb shell on me. She isn't "that into Pearl Jam"!
...really, there are things that would have hurt much less...like, "I am having an affair", and ,"you aren't the real father". Really...after 11 years of marriage - I thought I knew her better than that.
Hahahaha - oh well - my seats were awesome! I wasn't as close as some of you all, but I was close enough to have a completely unobstructed view of the band at all times! That show kicked ass - Awesome!
Best concert I have ever been to!
Love the Ten Club for the awesome seats! My boyfriend and I were 2nd row, right in the center! And we loved every minute of it! We even got ourselves one of Eddie's tambourines!
Amazing setlist. Loved when Eddie got Brian up there for Running back to Saskatoon!
Honestly one of the best nights of my life. It was epic.
18 years ago .. on 9-19 .. I lost a friend too young and too soon. This friend grew to be a brother to me and would be the one to introduce my ears and heart to Pearl Jam. As part of a "spiritual trip" that ended last night in Saskatoon - over 2,000 miles from home .. let's just say it was nothing short of EPIC .. The setlist did NOT dissapoint .. PURE perfection !! The memory of a friend was MORE than remembered last night, it was CELEBRATED .. it was as if, he was there with me .. listening along with me .. ((rockin)) like the good 'ol days . Thank You Pearl Jam .. here's to another 20 years !!!!
Much like in 2005, which they acknowledged to day being here last, PJ brought the house down. Saskatoon crowds can be a little shy at a rock show, but not on this night (nor in 2005). It was pure energy. I was worn out by the end. I sat up in the upper deck, half way back in the arena and had a great view of the stage. The energy was palpable up there, the first rows on the floor must of have been turned to goo. This will make for one excellent boot.
You guys are so lucky in North America, you get a tour every year. PJ hardly ever come to the UK. Set list is amazing.
Guess I'll have to make do with going to see PJ20 tonight in the cinema. Hope Cameron Crowe has done them justice.
WOW! I'm totally blown away by the shows on the CDN tour so far. Every setlist has been DY-NO-MITE! Red Mosquito? Showing the Binaural love with NAIS and God's Dice? Unreal. I CAN'T wait for the boots. Ten Club...how about packaging all the CDN tour 2011 shows in a nice box set? I wouldn't think twice about buying it. From all the great feedback on the forums about these shows, I'm sure you would sell a TON of them! PLEASE?????
My brother and I came from NYC for this show (only one we could make on the PJ20 tour) and the band, as always, did NOT disappoint! They kicked into high gear from the first song. And by Nothing as it seems, there was a very intense energy over the crowd. Our third row center seats could not have been more perfect, and the smaller stage was nice because the band was really together. Everyone was awesome, but Stone was especially great this show. Awesome highlights -jeff and mike running in circles during Spin, Jeff playing a bass uke during Just Breathe (I'm pretty sure?!), well, the whole first set was incredible... get this boot - they were on!... Running back to Saskatoon f-up for the first go around was hilarious, and when Ed brought up David (fan, second row center near us) to sing it the second time around, all us fans were up there with him, we were all so happy for him. it was an awesome moment! I loved seeing Boom closer to on the stage too, but we didn't hear any straight up boom jams, but it's all good. This show was incredibly energetic, and I am so thankful to the band for sticking out these last 20 years together, for being just amazing people with incredibly addictive spirits, and for being masters of their craft. Thank you Pearl Jam for 20 years. Cheers to rockin' the stage together in another 20!
We won the lottery tonight!!! Front row, right in the middle, in front of Eddie. What a show, I'm still on an adrenaline high. Can't believe they fit so many of my favorites into one set. Eddie even had a helper come up for Runnin' Back to Saskatoon! The perfect night.

any idea when the bootlegs will come out ? i loved the show
Crowd was great, as was Pearl Jam. Probably the best of the seven shows that I have seen.
Looking forward to Calgary tonight. Fingers crossed that I will get to hear Smile live for the first time.
