When the band started playing intersteller over drive we lookd at each other and thought holy shit r they guna play this song by far one of my favorite early pink floyd masterpieces the overall show was absolutly killer!
The whole show - awesome! That encore with Perry Farrell - surreal and truly amazing! Prob my favorite concert moment ever?? May have to think about that, but it's def up there! Red Mosquito - with some help from Ben Harper - was great and hearing Unthought Known live for the first time was also pretty sweet. All in all another awesome PJ performance.
The old lady & i braved the mud with our 2.5 year old & 1.5 year old to see you guys at the festival. I know, it sounds white trash right? But really, thanx. The kids won't remember it, but mom & dad always will. Plus, they can tell their friends they were fukin there!! We'll see you in New Orleans soon. Hope you can make it back to OKC before to long. Take care.
the show as absolutely awesome. I just wish your encores were your own music - which is the very best. playing other artists' music was a letdown after all of your own incredible music. I want to see YOUR music the very most.
can't wait for you to get back to TX SOON!!!
The festival performance was awesome but I loved the ACL taping. I was at the simulcast but it felt like I was still in the presence of greatness which was both the wounded soliders and of course PJ.
Please don't be a stranger and come back to ATX soon PJ!
are we going to be able to get a full boot of the acl taping that set was amazein, but i know there cutting it down to an hr for the show, wish they would jut make an expecttion for pj an let it be a lil over 2hrs
I have been to only a couple of shows, but that night in Austin was ABSOF'NLUTLY the best one that I have been to. Getting to see Harper rock Red Mosquito was worth the hours and hours of mud.
The perfect way to end the show. Also the perfect way to sum up how everyone in attendance for 3 days felt after enduring all the different types of climate torture.
