hi people, just wanted you to know that there are 2 songs named "untitled".One on yield, the other on "live on 2 legs".keep on rockin, dennis ellis
When they play this before MFC...it's amazing! I love it! Please play it again this summer in the UK!
Kara
what a fantastic song, in Berlin it was a real gem!
I got the car, I've got some gas
Baby let's get out of here
Get out of here fast
Everyone's confused so I stay in my room
I want to go, but i dont want to go alone.
I hope you get my message Cos you're home
I could be thare in 23 minutes or so,
You dont have to pack no things
We make it up as we go alone
I want to go, but i dont want to go alone.
With you I could never feel alone.
I've had enough of feeling alone.
There ARE two songs with this same title. The one that begins "I got the car, got some gas. Let's get out of here, get out of here fast..." may be my favorite PJ song. And they played it the Friday night before the Spectrum closed in Philly. Who's luckier than me?
They played it also in East Troy, Alpine Valley (1998-06-27)
"Oh lets get out of here, to somewhere warmer fast"
~ i will not go alone ~ bandaged hand in hand yes ~
An expanded version of the Yield version of "Untitled" ("Red Dot") played as intro music when the band took the stage during the 1998 post-Yield tour.
i think there's a third version of untitled. It's pretty much just eddie talking about a girl who broke up with him. I have no idea when or where it's from, but I have it on my computer and it's called "untitled"
It's frustrating that the 'not-so-untitled' song from Yield (commonly referred to by bootleg collectors as simply "The Color Red") is lumped in on PJ.com with the Untitled track that usually precedes MFC. The song came together completely on the last night it was played in the year 2000, which happened to also be my first time seeing PJ live.
11-2-2000 Portland, Rose Garden.
That song is rad and is perfectly suited as a prelude to Mini Fast Car.
The Color Red needs to be separated with its own title so those of us searching for that track can find it. Located here, there's no way to know the difference unless you already own the bootleg referred to or watched it live.
Please fix, someone in charge! Just call it what it is... also, Red Dot would be a stupid name, so stick with what many of us have called it for the last dozen years!
Actually, just thought...the only way to tell the difference at the moment is to click on the date, check the setlist: if Untitled precedes MFC, it's NOT "The Color Red." If it doesn't, chances are, it is TCR.
Now my ? is... were both "Untitled" songs ever played in the same show? THAT would kick Ass!
@ Berkes944: no, that one's called I'm Still Here. People speculated that it was from the Japanese edition of Lost Dogs, but that's not true, and no one seems to know the song's true origin.
