Might be my early favorite song. Ed (if in fact he wrote it, which it sounds like his) was getting philosophical on this one, which I love.

This album is so mature, it...it's exactly where I wanted Pearl Jam to go without really putting the thought to words. And this song approaches that desire probably the most (close with speed of sound).

... they opened with Unthought Known in Arras and maybe from that point on, I realized this song stirred up both action and humble appreciation in myself, which I am really grateful for.
