Lyrics:
Power high, power low
You could take 'em all to school
You could fly, wilt the stilt had nothing on you
Lambchops and afro-do, Milwaukee Bucks and a barbecue
33 just like you
Sweet Lew, how could you?
Sweet Lew, makin' me blue
A laker trade their bobby-d for a house, a guru by the sea
A little help from 32, showtime, and worthy
Those were the days, pre-investment spree
Sweet Lew, is it true?
Sweet Lew, how could you?
I grew up trying to copy you, Bruce Lee, and a kung-fu
Act a jazzman, yogi too
Little did I know, a loose screw
But you had your own shoe
Build him high, build him tall, a haiku with a basketball
Tear 'em down, one and all
7 foot 2 is a long way to fall
Sweet Lew, how's the view?
Sweet Lew, how could you?

I was at the only two performances of this song... so far.
True Pearl Jam fans appreciate this rather un-pearl jam sounding song.
so was i :-)
me 3! :-D
Same here!
Wow, you guys were all lucky enough to see this song played live? Neat-o! Nifty! Certainly worth posting a comment about!
And I love how you establish yourself as a "true Pearl Jam fan" because you like this song and, in so doing, imply that anyone who doesn't like it isn't a "true" fan. I'm so bummed I don't meet your litmus test! I'll have to do a little more research into Kareem's life and the great Laker teams, and then maybe I'll finally "get" this song and, at last, became a "true" PJ fan!
I was also at the only two times this one was played... amazing!

I said true fans will appreciate the sound, not true fans have necessarily seen it live.
