It's too bad this was just an opening set, but what a set it was. The bad really took to the "opener" role, playing almost all rockers & crowd favorites. First time I'd heard Glorified G and Not for You, which somehow I'd missed in 3 previous shows. It was worth it.
My 3rd PJ concert. I drove 14 hours to see them in St. Paul. They opened for Tom Petty. It was a short set. No encore....a bit dissapointed but what they did play was amazing, Really tight. Highlights were "Marker in the Sand", "Even Flow" had a great Matt Cameron drum solo and "Come Back" was felt throughout the arena. Ed came out and sung "The Waiting" with Tom Petty but Ed's mic wasn't working right so he wasn't heard.
