Perfect day, perfect band! The beauty of Missoula was shining through and you couldn't have gotten through the day without knowing that one of the greatest bands of all time was in town.
One concern...The Mosh pit didn't listen to Goodness at all and disrespected them right on stage. Poorly behaved concert goers ruined it for them and I don't think they played as long as they would have. One fan threw a bottle of watter that hit the lead singer in the face and they ended their opening. SHAME on YOU!
The waiting drove the crowd mad...but they finally came out with absolute domination. Given to fly, lived up to my expectation live, and it was amazing to see how much control EV can have over a crowd. Stone and Mike were amazing, as always, and Jeff continues to impress with locally grown tallent that should be a reminder of how far anyone can go. That Soundgarden kid added his mark for the first time and it's impressive that PJ found someone as versital as the rest of the band. I have been a believer since 1991 and still am astounded by the grip Even Flow and Black have over me, the whole set was perfect. I went home with new appreciation for Brain of J and Evolution, which I now believe are on my greatest picks. In Hiding and Jeremy seemed to bring the energy down and Evolution brought it right back. Even Flow and Daughter were a great lead in to the off-set sounds and funky tune in Present Tense, which was great to hear live. Cameron nailed the pulse of Habit, and everyone in the whole place raised their arms and sang along during Given to Fly. Alive left the crowd on their feet until the encore, and hearing Better Man and Black was torture until SOLAT got the pulse back to tempo for an absolutely overflowing Once, which I was greatful to have heard for the first time live. Leadbetter was great and we left with the hope the band starts out in Missoula every tour. Thanks guys!

Great memories from MT. I remember jumping up during Evenflow and my feet not hitting the ground for several seconds. So crowed up front and as good a time as I have ever had! Oh, to be young again!

What a show.... the line went down the street through a neighborhood where the people were selling beers for a buck a can from their coolers. Hot day, killer set, they kicked it off with Corduroy, just kept on rocking and never let up. Their first encore set was perfect although by this point of the show the crowd was really rowdy. People were getting hurt trying to jump onto the GA field and were getting tackled by the security that night which if I remember correctly, was the University's football team. Of the 20 or so times that I have seen them, this was one of the most memorable shows. There were a ton of drunk fans and I only hope that they remember how beautiful this show was.
