The bootleg of this show is outstanding because it's a sound-board recording. Pretty rare from that era. I believe the show was broadcast on the radio, but I'm not sure. I think there's an encore break after Porch, which then picks up with Suggestion/Garden/RITFW. This version of RITFW is killer, with a small spoken-word piece in the middle.
Gotta love a band that give away their biggest secret - the Mamasan trilogy - during a random show in Zurich.
I remember the guys coming to the stage and since I didn't know their faces too well I was looking for Eddie and none of them looked like I had seen him on photographs. The guy who stepped to the mic didn't have long hair, but you couldn't really see because he wore a baseball cap. Just before the first notes of 'Oceans' he pulled the cap off and let his hair down. Everything felt right after that moment. It was a very intense show with lots of changes in the mood because of the impros between songs. Eddie did his climbing thing and I think he managed to grab hold of the balcony that runs all around the room on the upper floor in the Volkshaus. You can hear the cheering of the audience during the instrumental part of 'Porch' when he let himself fall onto the crowd. It still is one of the best shows I have ever been to. When I walked out of the venue after 'Rockin' In The Free World' my head was spinning and I knew I had found my new favourite band. And they still are to this day.
