wow...great story! Glad to hear you are well. I also made the trek to Toronto in August...great town and a great show...Hope you have tix for the 31st in philly. Should be a memorable event!
Thanks for you wishes. And now this year I am going up to Toronto and both Philly shows[waiting for the announcement of the next]. Plus I got to meet Eddie outside of the Tower Theater
on June 20, 2003 I had a cancerous tumor removed from my breast. At the time I also had tickets to two PJ shows for July. I still needed to have more surgery to see if the cancer had spread. But I didn't want to miss my shows. The Doc's said it would be ok to wait a couple of weeks. I went to my shows knowing I had breast cancer. Not knowing what to expect. So now it is June 20,2008 and I am still in remission. I went to 5 Pearl Jam shows this past summer but none of them had the meaning that the June 20, 2008 show had. I could not wait for ALIVE was played. I cried as I sang the song along with my Mom who went to the show with me. No one knows one day to the next, but when you have a little push near the other side you really learn to want to be ALIVE. Great show good time. Pearl Jam is the best ever
