I remember a lot of young fans not knowing who Iggy Pop was and he came out and rocked it old school. I felt like we were the only ones who knew his songs. Great night and great gig poster.
This was also our very first Pearl Jam show at the Star Lake Amphitheater in 1998. The setlist was very impressive. The one thing we noticed during the show was that Eddie seemed to be a little out of it. He didn't seem like himself on stage that night, but nonetheless, he was magical, and that's what separates Eddie Vedder from the rest of them.
Eddie was wearing that black tossel cap for the first few tunes then he tossed it.
The tunes we remember well.
- Brain of J
- Last Exit
- I Got Id
- No Way
This was an awesome show, and one we won't soon forget!
I was there too, and I remember well the first time they played 'No Way' live..it was truly a moment I'll never forget. I have this show on cassette tape too, back when we had to sometimes sneak in our tape recorders...those were the days.

My first show, and the best 10C seats I've ever had...4th row center! No Way played for the first time ever. I still have this show on cassette! lol
