ive been to a few shows nothing is going to top PJ20 but this was one that was up there
just wish there was a bootleg

True. Not the BEST. But really sweet. It was our first PJ show. We drove down from Tulsa for it. Heard on the Tulsa radio station that the show time had changed 24 hours before the show. Got there and nobody new who the opening act was until we were standing in line for the cow pasture (SPM). It was the Ramones!!! Freaking sweet, and we had and appreciation. 4:00 in the afternoon in the blazing South Texas sun in the pit. Awesome! Still one of my most favorite shows ever just for the personal significance and the Ramones. We encountered people as far away as OKC and New Mexico, that did not get the time change, walking up at 7:30 when the show ended completely dumbfounded that the show was over. That was f*@cked up. But a great memory.

Hell yeah..I remember freaking out hearing on the radio on the way to the show that it was starting early. Got there in time and made my way down the hill. Maybe not the best show I've seen, but the most memorable. I went by myself and just soaked in the experience. Too bad, but at the time I wasn't appreciative of the Ramones like I should've been. Anyone know where to get a bootleg of this show? Only one I don't have that I attended...

Is now one big giant fucking strip mall,,,,oh well, I was there on this hot day! Where did the time go..........

My first PJ show ever. The Ramones opened and were awesome too. Also it was HOT! A real Texas summer day! I remember being so damn excited when I got those tickets over the phone. I was freaking out. My best memory of a long gone venue. Fought my way through the crowd to catch a up close glimpse of the band. I also remember someone throwing a bag of pot or mushrooms on stage and Ed laughing and holding it up to show the crowd. If memory serves me they also sang "The stars at night are big and bright (clap clap clap) Deep in the Heart of Texas" early in the show.

Hottest day I can remember. Ed came on stage wearing a jacket and a hat, acting like he was cold or something (as a joke, I assume). He shed the warm clothing by the time Go started. This venue was great... too bad it just sat there unused for so many years and eventually became a strip mall.

This was my first PJ show. Southpark Meadows was a great venue, outdoors with the stage at the bottom of a hill. I remember that it was very hot that day, the security at the front of the stage was spraying water into the crowd. I also remember that this show was reshceduled from an earlier date, because of the ticketmaster revolt. You had to buy the tickets for this show over the phone; I still have my ticket. Great song list, I liked the add in of the REM song.

This was my first PJ show. Hopefully they'll come back to Austin soon. I remember it was HOT. I remember getting pulled out of the pit. I remember being sprayed with water hoses from the security guys in front of the stage. It was an awesome show and I was hooked from that point on. I wish there were some pictures from this show or video from this show somewhere but I don't believe it exists.

This was a great show, South Park was such a great venue...it's a strip mall now :( Great memories, thanks guys!

My second show ever...they started in the afternoon, cause REM had to load in that night and it was unbelievably hot...great show, though!
