This experience was crazy, from start to finish.

Original, when Pearl Jam decided to tour without ticketmaster there was a date set for Lake Tahoe. Well, that changed. Instead of opting for the Sacramento Cal Expo tickets, I bought the San Francisco thinking it would be better than Sac. Little did I know, I would be a part of 'history'. The crowd sucked. I remember being upfront, after waiting hours in line, and it feeling like 50,000 people pushing towards the stage. Ed was wearing sunglasses and the band huried the set right along. I enjoyed Neil, but it was a let down. The San Jose make up show was great and well worth the mess.

I don't remember exactly what was played when(or if this matters much), but I am 99% sure that Neil opened with "I'm the Ocean". Crowd treated Neil like crap for the most part, very indifferent. Jeff got on the mic at the end, noticing the crowd's agitated state, and said they would try to make up the show, but if not oh well. The crowd got really pissed at that point, then some promoter got on the mic and chastised the crowd for their reaction to what Jeff said. It was a very bizarre show-and my first live Pearl Jam experience. I've been to 8 more since, and they've gotten better every time.

By far, the biggest let down I have ever had. Drove 400 miles for just a few songs.

I was there for this show.
