The day before the gig was fun too... Desertman and myself arranged to meet any 10C members in central Athens and go for drinks... It was a good turnout... we had people from the States, Israel, Scandinavia, UK,, even Canada and Australia if I remember well... I can't remember how many exactly but we were about 30 - 40 people...
So we all met up, and slowly made our way to the area of Gazi where there are many bars and clubs, and I suggested a rock bar called 45degrees... it has an open rooftop bar which is cool. We get there and I run up to the door man before he had seen the rest of the group, and I ask him what's up... he says they are still setting up cause it's early. It was around 10pm... bars open late in Greece and close early in the morning! He says i cant come in, I say I have 40 thirsty PJ fans waiting around the corner, and i guess we made his day, cause up we go and on the rooftop we are... They couldn't refuse entry to 40 people hahaha... anyway, I tell the dj to put on Ten and let it play all the way through, and we're having cold ones with a view to the Parthenon in our own private 10C Athenian rooftop.... was a good night...
Next day was awesome as you might imagine... I'm there 3 hours pre-show and wearing a neck brace due to a spine problem... waiting in the 10C queue... I get in and go as close as possible... I lasted in the second row standing for one hour... the security thought I was crazy... was painful but worth every second...

THE BEST CONCERT EVER IN GREECE,,AND MY FIRST PEARL JAM CONCERT...AMAZING SET LIST,,,EDDIE SPEAK GREEK TO US,,A SOLD OUT CONCERT OF 15.000 PEOPLE..AT PORCH HE CLIMB UP IN THE PYLONS OF THE STAGE,,THE BAND PLAY SEVEN SONGS IN THE ROW AFTER EDDIE SAY HELLO IN GREEK AND HE MAKE A JOKE THAT AFTER THEY PLAY IN GREECE ITS TIME TO STOP BEING A BAND,,,BEFORE SMILE EDDIE THANKS THE GREEK FANS AND THE PEOPLE FROM OTHER COUNTRIES THAT FOLLOW THE TOUR AND ASK THE FANS TO GIVE HIM ALL THE FLAGS TO PUT THEM IN THEIR PRACTICE SPACE.. I CANT SAY WHICH WAS THE BEST TIME OF THE CONCERT,,,IN JEREMY I REMEMBER THE TIME I WAS 19 YEARS OLD ANS WATCH JEREMY FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MTV AND I SEND TO MY SELF THATS THE MUSIC GROUP THAT TALKS TO MY FEELINGS....,IN PORCH I REMEMBER THE WISHES I MAKE IN THE PAST FOR PEARL JAM TO COME IN GREECE AND SING LIVE "WHAT THE FUCK IN THIS WORLD",,,IN EVEN FLOW JUST WAITING TO SEE MIKE PLAY THE SOLO..AND AFTER THE SECOND ENCORE A PERSON NEXT TO ME SAY,"JUST COME OUT NOW, PLAY "ALIVE" AND ALL OF US WILL DIE ALIVE!!!AND THEY DID OFCOURSE....AND WHEN EDDIE STARTS TO SING .... I KNOW SOMEDAY YOULL HAVE A BEAUTIFUL LIFE,,I JUST LOOK TO MY SISTER..
