Freeeezing at this show! And remember, it was supposed to be at the BJCC Arena, but they changed it to Oak Mountain Amphitheater at the last minute. I always prefer outdoor venues, but man was it cold out there. Eddie said it was the second coldest show they'd ever played. A great bonding experience for us all :)

all of my friends were down in the pit and my fiance and myself were in the nose bleeds. I had a jacket but she didn't so we hugged and shared the jacket braving the 30mph winds (it felt like). I still remember the instructions eddie gave if we ever wanted to "re-create" that moment. and I could've sworn that the tissue ended up in the hands of a senior citizen.

I will never forget this show because I had to spend the whole show with a short sleeve tee! The temp dropped so fast I never saw it coming!

I remember the tissue thing too! I was about 13 rows back from the stage in the middle. Great show, opening with "Go". My friend and I drove all the way from Tampa, FL to get there that night and were driving up when Sleater Kinney was in the middle of their set. Very cold night. I remember Eddie saying if you want to relive the experience "get a pair of head phones, open the freezer, get some big fans, stick your feet in a bucket of ice, and let it rip". Then they went right into "Even Flow". Awesome night!

I still remember this show like it was yesterday. Eddie was sick and for being April in Alabama, it was COLD. Great part is a future college friend of mine passed along the infamous tissue (he claims he kept it, though he could never produce the evidence). Not PJ's longest or most epic show, though considering the weather and Eddie's condition—I was super impressed. Maybe I'm biased, but it's still one of my favorite boots to reminisce to (the Sweet Home Alabama teaser still gets me!)
