I had just seen them for the first time that April at The Concert Hall in Toronto for 17$. I just turned 17...it was the first show like that I had ever been too...I think up until then it was just big stadium concerts...sitting so far back. It was my first pit. My first real connection with a band onstage...pumping my fist and singing "Why Go" at the top of my lungs. Body surfing...needless to say there was one big reason for me to head to Barrie...I was there for PJ. What a day that was too...PJ...Soundgarden...RHCP...Ministry...holy shit....
I remember going to this show to see PJ and they were awesome!
They did play Leash, I am also 100% sure of it. Slept out on the grass in line and stood second from the stage. As long as they tour, I will be going to see them.
Just saw them in Hamilton, first row. They are better than ever!!
I am 100% confident they played Leash this show. But too much residue from that weekend, I do not remember the rest. SOLAT maybe???
All I remember was this was the band I wanted to follow for the rest of my life.
Yeah dude....that day was life changing for sure. For all the talent playing that day, - which was RIDICULOUS - they were one of the few to leave a real lasting impression.
This was my introduction to PJ at Lollapalooza '92 in Barrie, north of Toronto. Drove from Buffalo, NY to see this festival and PJ (unknown to me at the time) is one of the only memories I have from this day!!!
