Not to nit-pick but it was Tower Records, not Virgin, the 26 hours me, my 2 brothers, and their friend waited on line was totally worth it, had to get Avocado anyway. It was odd though when Clive Davis came down to hand out Krispy Kremes. Also in attendance ex-NY Ranger hockey players Steve Rucchin and Ryan Hollweg.
1) Was worth waiting all day in line and making friends with Frank, Iliana, Jessie and Mike. You guys rule and I love seeing you at shows all the time.
2) Show was packed to the gills and was the closest I have ever been to the band.
3) Thank you Matt for tossing me the drumstick at the end. I know I leaped over a bunch of people to catch it. Was worth seeing Susan Sarandon have a horrified look after catching it too.
4) My favorite show by far even if it was a smaller set list.
Tix for this show were given out to the first 200 people who bought the Avacado record at Virgin Records in NYC. Fairly short show for PJ but it was awesome seeing them in such a small venue with so few people. "Present Tense" was unreal!
