This was my first PJ show. I was going to SDSU at at the time and brought a bunch of friends who didn't really know much about PJ. I was from Tacoma so I had a heads up on what was happening with the music scene in the NW. The show was insane. That energy that the band brought really tore up Iguanas. Eddie turned the club into his own private monkey bar gym. This is Mexico, I don't think their building codes were up to snuff. Eddie was probably 25 feet off of the ground and every time he grabbed onto what was hanging from the ceiling it would give and he would drop and have to grab onto something else. I 'll never forget the band watching him while he did his thing around the club. Im sure they were horrified. The crowd was transfixed. After making it all the way around the club he ended up on the speaker stack stage left and did a backward swan dive into the crowd. From then on, every time PJ came through town where ever I was living, I was there. Looking back it was one of the best shows I have ever seen.
