Not much that I remember about that setlist except that they started off with Why Go (I think), and played Porch amazingly! I remember being there more for Soundgarden and Red Hots, but PJ definitely tore it up! Soundgarden opened with Face Pollution and played Cop Killer. Ministry was amazing, and given the heat of the long Houston summer day, by the time RHCP came on, I was done! I remember hearing I Could've Lied as we dragged ourselves to the exit. Damn that was an awesome time to be a music fan.
From what I remember, they started with Jeremy. When that ended, Eddie said, "This next one should make a pretty big wave." They went into Even Flow and right before the first chorus, Eddie yelled, "Stop, Stop, Stop! There's a few people down here in the front." Everyone got up and situated, Eddie turned back towards Dave and they kicked back in like they never stopped...Even flow, thoughts arrive like butterflies.
I think Why Go was next, but not sure of the order except the first two songs.
My first concert. Me and my pal managed to work our way all up to the front when he passed out and had to be lifted over all the fans sandwiched up to the front waiting for PJ to come out. When they did come out I was maybe 8 feet from the front. This being Houston TX it was amazing hot and they were hosing us down, which was nice while it was happening but then it got so humid. They started with Why Go. I got through that song and thought I was gonna pass out too so I went over the top. I emerged much further back and still managed to jam!
