hrd2imgn: 3/10/94 was my first PJ show, truly an unforgettable experience. I've been trying to get a bootleg of the show for awhile and just saw your post. Is your offer still open for a boot copy? How can I reach you?

I have a bootleg I can burn for anyone, just PM me

There was no 1-800 in front in those days!! It was just 588-2300. Just like Eddie sang it. Frogs and Urge Overkill rocked. But then Eddie's first scream in Release and the rest of the band kicking in...sounded like they brought in a whole new sound system!!!

This was a religious experience for me. Unreal! They were the last band to play the Chicago Stadium. It was torn down not long after this show to make a parking lot for the new United Center.

1st show, also! didn't have tix, but hung out in front of the drugstore, i mean, the box office & they opened up 2 sections at the last minute & got tix for $18!!! KICK ASS!!!! now they're $75!! WTF??? i'll still pay!!! PEARL JAM ROX!!!! COME BACK 2 CHICAGO,SOON!!!!!

Also my first, I can still remember how intense that show was. i wish I could get a bootleg!

"Empire Carpet Song"

As in "800 588 2300 Empire" from the carpet commercial?

They would do that. I was like 3 then, haha, would've loved to have seen that.

its was Jeff's B-day too - cake to the face from eddie!

my first as well, instant fan after that. Liked them before, loved them after

This show was the first time I saw PJ. I won the ticket in a straw drawing contest at a restaurant in the northwest burbs of Chitown. Great show. The Frogs and Urge Overkill were the openers. Chicago Stadium had the best acoustics in the whole city of Chicago. It was a beautiful show. Too bad that stadium is no longer:(
