This was my first show as well - heard about EV in the parking lot, but unfortunately didn't see him! We had lawn seats (wasn't in the fanclub yet, darnit!) Joined shortly after.
My very first Pearl Jam show. We bumped into Eddie as he was skateboarding through the parking lot. He asked for requests, and we requested "Footsteps." Not sure it was a result of the request, but the band played it! Great show at a great venue.
Hilarious! I remember that as well. Also, Eddie came out with his sleeves rolled up, white button down shirt, jumping around. Very Springsteen. Personal note: got my first speeding ticket on the way home from this show. Damn I-71!

Still some of the best seats I've ever had for a show! How about Iggy Pop calling out that guy who was disrespecting him?
