@ Orangebug, moved out from New York about 2 months before that show, I was 20 years old and I went to the show by myself. I can still remember the little beer table set up to the side of the stage and my 1st and only crowd surfing experience. I have the poster and ticket stubbed framed and matted in my house. I lived out there in Westminster for a year and a half, back in Hoboken , NJ now. PJ20?
This was my first show. Came from Jersey to see these shows. Could only find a fix for this first show. Was bummed about the other two nights but they ended up canceling the third show. I didn't see any security issues but it was a mad house in there. I big rectangular room with low ceiling and pillars that blocked the view for a lot of people.
I ended up years later working for a snowboard company and some dude said he was working at a small ski shop back then and the whole band came in. THey made arrangements for the store to open early and bought all new equipment, jackets the whole 9 yards and went up to the hills. Rock Stars! :-)
I know they played Alive on this show, either right before or after Once, I remembered hoping they'd do Footsteps so I'd hear the whole trilogy.
My friends and I met Eddie before this show he was buying an acoustic guitar from Robb's Music in Boulder. My friends and I were in there looking at some guitars and saw Eddie in one of the practice booths, we nodded over at him and when he was done he came over and talked to us for a bit, way cool!
i had tix for the 3rd show,lived in denver,was drinkin' in the hills & heard on radio that P.J. cancelled the show!! ...continued drinking!!!! heard security SUCKED!!!
i was the firs to stand i line i drove from colorado springs was going to stay at my causins dorm it was thanksgiving vaction so thay did not let me.i ended staying in my car next to a river near the field house.urge overkill,muddhoney,than pj,yhay riped it up,iremember eddie fighting with the securaity,like pulled headphones from one of the staff cause thay were to ruff with the croud,i think eddie went to court i boulder for that stupid staff the field house had working.
