Two More Pearl Jam Tour Dates Added

We've got another Pearl Jam surprise for you ... Toronto and Chicago!! The band will wrap up their European run with two more shows on the North American continent:
Date - City - Venue
Aug 21 - Toronto, ONT - Molson Amphitheater
Aug 23 - Chicago, IL - United Center
Ten Club has tickets for both shows and a pre-sale will begin on May 4th. You must be an active member as of May 3, 2009 to qualify for the ticket pre-sale. Starting May 6th, any remaining tickets will become available to ALL active members regardless of membership sign up date. The ticket pre-sale will end on May 6th at 3pm Pacific Time.
Pre-sale tickets will be sold online only at https://www.pearljam.com/max with a Visa or Mastercard. No phone orders. Eligible Ten Club members are allowed to purchase two (2) tickets per show. Ten Club tickets are available while supplies last. For wheelchair accessible seating, please purchase your tickets online then contact tickets@tenclub.net.
Ten Club tickets are for reserved seating and will be allocated by seniority. Seat locations will be reserved from the 1st row on the floor, extending back, and the side sections closest to the stage. The longer you have been in the fan club, the closer your seats will be to the stage. Newer members should not expect prime seat locations. Proximity to the stage is contingent on the amount of members in attendance. Seat location is NOT revealed prior to the performance.
Please read the following details before making a ticket purchase:
- Tickets are not mailed in advance. Tickets are distributed at the venue on the day of the show.
- The fan club member must collect the tickets with a valid photo identification. No exceptions.
- Purchasing Ten Club tickets means you agree to all Ten Club ticket policies and distributing procedures.
- Reselling of Ten Club tickets will result in cancellation of ticket purchase and revocation of all future ticket benefits.
- All ticket sales are final. No refunds. No transfers. No exchanges.
- All dates are subject to change.

If this is your first time getting tix to the 10C, don't be disappointed if you're near the back of the floor.
I'm a long time fan too. The Chicago date will be my 13th show, but only my 3rd 10 club ticket show. The first night in Chi-town May 2006 I was even with the soundboard on the floor. The 2nd night I was in the last row of 100 level probably a little closer than 1/2 court. I preferred the 100 level seats, cause we had some elevation. The floor seats weren't bad though. But considering pretty much every time I've tried to get tix for them in Chicago before hand, I was ALWAYS up in nosebleed, I'll take the back of the floor and be happy :)
Every other show I've ever seen at the Molson Amphitheatre (and there have been many), I've always had lawn tickets, so no matter what seat I have will be an improvement on that!
What a great birthday surprise for me. I just looked a pictures from the last UC show last night and commented on how PJ needs to do some North America shows, how weird.

For the Ed Vedder shows at Massey Hall the promoter sold loads of tickets to scalpers before the public even had a chance to buy tickets.

I'm not very tall and I'm afraid to be at the back of the floor not seeing anything of the stage. I never went to the Molson Amphitheater, so I don't know how it's like to be there. Is the floor flat or elevated at the back?

Why do you poor North American people have to sit on chairs on the floor while PJ is rockin'?
I heard that there have been some serious incidents in the earlier PJ-gigs-era but would these single happenings forbid you guys forever to experience the ultimate gig?
I "only" attended 3 gigs so far, all of them in Europe. Chairs in between us on the floor? Unimaginable!
Can somebody explain this please?

Great News! I was shocked when I received the email announcement while at work yesterday, I got my order in and will be at the Toronto show!! The last time I saw them in TO, Bono joined Eddie in singing Rocking in the Free World! I Can't Wait!!
Road trip!!!! Will be making the 13-hour trip from Winnipeg to Chicago to take my 15-year old son to his first PJ show in August! He saved up forever and just bought himself a used '57 re-issue Fender Strat and he's a huge Mike McCready fan so will he be stoked when I tell him he's going to see Mike play live!! Floor is flat at the amphitheatre, but it is small, not like in the ACC. There are only like 15-18 rows, so it shouldn't be too bad, unless of course you are a midget... best seats are the 200's in the first few rows. You are at stage level and close enough to see everything that's going on.
to bd212961on your allegation the promoter sold tickets to scalpers for the massey hall shows is unfair.i personally met the promoter outside the venue where he was exchanging tickets from people who had seats that weren t so close for first row seats. i was one of those lucky people. he also was not happy to be seeing the scalpers out front of massey hall selling tickets to his show. so if there was as tickets being sold it was from other sources or even legitimate ones where tickets filtered to the scalpers. by the way thank you to pearl jam for including a stop in toronto.and another thank you to the ten club which is by far and wide the best club for the fans of this band. i was a member of anothe cocert club in the 80 s which started out great but sadly ended when it seemed too many people complained too often . the ten club should be the model used for any band, its the best i ve seen in my 38 years of cocert going.

It is the venue. And, I've been to other shows where there was not seating. Also, it's a benefit to fan club members who get prime seating without having to stand in line a million hours to try and get in front.

26 live show and let me tell you my membership date should EASILY put me in the top 10 rows in TO.....thanks Boys..for coming back to Toronto..had my tickets on the 4th..member since 95!!! My fault my 10C membership had lapsed, I did renew naively hoping to get a shot at them after 15:00 PDT but before public sale with ticokmaster, but they were gone before then.
Will hope for a 2nd date or additional 10c release of seats.

Ya I was really pissed to say the least that I had to get a text mesage from a friend telling that..as he puts it Toe Jam is com,ing to Chicago. I said no way..that i would have kown about it long before our local dousche bag radio station would have announced it Monday morning.
Glad I still got my 10c tix and the show will awesome as alwys but 10c or someone F^&Ked up!

don't understand why I never received an email announcing the ten club tickets for chicago???? sucks since they are all gone now.
I tried to buy a pair of tickets for this show today through ticketmaster.ca and within placing my order and the validation key within 10 seconds, I was told the concert was sold-out...
How can 16,000 or so tickets be sold-out in less than 20 - 10 seconds?
I believe whole heartily that Ticketmaster.ca is scamming these tickets and selling them through ticketsnow. I am so sad that these bastards at TicketMaster are ripping off fans.

I tried to buy only one ticket, and didn't get anything except in the 400. I don't think it's Ticketmaster though. I know that a lot of tix where reserved for 10C members - all 100, 200 and a lot of 300, and for the Edge radio yesterday pre sale. It means that there where only 300 on the sides and some 400 left for general public sale.
I didn't know 10C had reserved so many seats. Since I'm a new member, I thought I could maybe have a better seat buying it at general public sale. Bad idea!
I'm going to San Francisco's Outside Lands. I hope to get lucky enough to have a place in front.
If someone has an extra ticket, I'd be very interested to buy it.
Ok, last three times we got to see PJ was in Hawaii 12/06 and St. Paul 6/26-27 for a combined total of 5 hours, not bad since we live in F&%KN Texas. Had we known Y'ALL were going to perform for 2 full nights in Chicago then we would have purchased fan club tix, booked a flight and stayed for the duration. Anyway, do we sound like we are whinning? Sorry, we are just frustrated. We need a fix of some good ole PJ! I'm out, bonus is we will see E.V. in Nashville next month! CYA!
