Pete Seeger 90th Birthday Celebration at Madison Square Garden

We regret to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances Eddie Vedder will not be able to participate in the Sunday, May 3rd Clearwater Concert: Creating the Next Generation of Environmental Leaders at Madison Square Garden. Eddie offers his deep regrets on not being able to attend what is sure to be an amazing night not only celebrating the life of the legendary Pete Seeger, but raising awareness on an important cause that is near and dear to Pete's heart.
In an effort to support the continued work of the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Eddie Vedder has made a $10,000 donation from Pearl Jam’s Foundation in Pete Seeger’s name.
Again, with more than 40 artists coming together to honor Pete Seeger, it is sure to be a great show.

Of course I hope all is well too. But what a disappointment! The whole reason I paid for good tickets was to see Eddie, after missing out on opportunities to see him solo.
