In addition to Pearl Jam's Alpine Valley Labor Day Anniversary Concert + Canadian tour, the band will release a Cameron Crowe-directed film, Pearl Jam Twenty, which captures the band’s journey over its twenty years, along with an accompanying book and soundtrack album this fall. Details on each follow.

Columbia Records/Sony Music will release the Pearl Jam Twenty soundtrack in conjunction with the film’s theatrical release. Cameron Crowe selected the track listing for the soundtrack -- making the album a true companion piece to the film.

Published by Simon & Schuster in the U.S. and Canada and Atlantic Books in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, the Pearl Jam Twentybook is an aesthetically stunning, definitive chronicle of the band’s past two decades. The book was compiled and written by veteran music journalist and current "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" music booker, Jonathan Cohen, with Mark Wilkerson (author of “Who Are You: The Life of Pete Townshend”), designed by Pearl Jam in-house designer Regan Hagar (also the drummer for Brad and Satchel), with a foreword by Cameron Crowe.

What a treat, thanks so much for all the years of music; providing us hope in these times of hopelessness.
After 20 years, this lineup is very disappointing. PJ20 people, do you realize most people are broke these days as well? Short notice again too guys. Wow. I've saved and waited for this moment, this day, and man is the defeating. It took me awhile to even find the "I can afford it"- type prices. I guess if I was ever gonna go to friggin' Wisconsin this is it, huh? Am I the only one living in the real world? Beautiful Sink.
Well, the money I won't be spending on the fest will at least go into this. Sweet!

Ya know, I'm kinda with you on this one. I'm a little disappointed that the guys are so far removed from us now, compared to 'then'... Just want the music and magic of 'Live' and really glad that the rest of the world finally caught on....However now we have to deal with the machine that always follows the money train. Was hoping for something different and more affordable for the fans who've been loyal all these years. Can't please everybody and that's the slot I fit right now. Canadian tour looks like a great option and road trip, I'm so used to trains planes and autos to see the guys.... so here's hoping for a good late Summer.
