We are pleased to announce an additional opportunity to see Pearl Jam live on their European Tour ... on August 11, 2009, the band will perform at the intimate Shepherd's Bush Empire in London, England and the Ten Club wants to give you a chance to attend.
THIS PRE-SALE IS LIMITED TO UK AND IRELAND MEMBERS ONLY. Ten Club pre-sale tickets will be available online only at https://www.pearljam.com/max with a Visa or Mastercard. No phone, mail, or email orders.
The Ten Club ticket pre-sale will start at 5pm UK local time (9am Pacific) on July 20th and end promptly at 8pm UK local time (12pm Pacific) on July 21st. You must be active as of July 15th, 2009 and your Ten Club address must reside in the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland) or Ireland to qualify.
Ten Club tickets will be sold as a lottery purchase. You will make your ticket order, but this DOES NOT guarantee you will have tickets to the show. Your credit card will be authorized for the ticket order, but funds will not be collected unless your order is selected. To avoid having immediate funds withheld, we suggest NOT using a debit card for the ticket purchase.
If your ticket order has been selected, your credit card will be charged. Once the pre-sale has ended, a computer-generated random selection process will choose the winning ticket orders and finalize the ticket purchase. You will be notified by email confirmation letting you know whether or not your ticket order was been selected. Confirmations will be sent shortly after the pre-sale has ended.
By opting to purchase tickets, you agree to all Ten Club policies:
- All ticket sales are final. No refunds, transfers or exchanges.
- Two (2) tickets per member. No single tickets.
- If your ticket order is selected, you are responsible for payment.
- Tickets are not mailed in advance. Tickets are distributed at the venue on the day of the show.
- The fan club member must collect the tickets with a valid photo identification.
- Ten Club tickets are for general admission, standing room only.
- Reselling of Ten Club tickets will result in cancellation of ticket purchase and revocation of all future ticket benefits.

In addition to the 10c pre-sale, HMV, the UK music retailer, wants to give you another chance to purchase tickets ... If you pre-order 'Backspacer' from www.hmv.com by 12 noon (UK local time) on the 20th July, customers will be delivered a link to an exclusive 48 hour pre-sale (July 21-22) for tickets to the SBE show. Fans who pre-order the HMV version of 'Backspacer' will also receive a limited-edition poster (while supplies last).
Please note: This is an exclusive HMV ticket offer and is open to the public worldwide, but is not associated with Ten Club ticketing. The HMV pre-order of 'Backspacer' will be a different version than the Ten Club release. Questions regarding HMV pre-orders and tickets should be directed to www.hmv.com.
Tickets go on general sale from www.hmv.com and the SBE box office on Thursday, July 23rd.

I was at the Empire a few weeks ago to see a very special gig by Cat Stevens. Would've been the most best thing if Ed had walked on for Don't Be Shy wuth Yusef ... but U2 turning up as surprise guests wasn't bad !
Just hope I'm blessed in the ticket lottery .. and that if I'm not you'll save 'Breath' for o2 or Manchester.

Dammit, I just used my last holidays off work to spend 2 weeks travelling around Croatia in September. This would be much cooler. Maybe I feel a cold coming on for say around the 11th August. Cough...Cough... See it's started already.

Hope the band were talking to Neil Young recently! He played the O2 in Dublin on 21st June and the sound was fucking amazing! And there is still plenty of room to stage dive. Remember the Point in 2000 Eddie.

I got through to the order page but then the site kept crashing.....It was reminicent of trying to buy Glastonbury tickets before the introduction of ID on the tickets....

I didn't even get the pre-sale link to HMV after ordering the cd pre- order What's that all about? I feel kinda conned! I might even cancel the order and get my money back.
Oh well, there's always hope,I will just have to join the big scram tomorrow morning like the rest of the unlucky ones and if that fails, I will have to turn to the ticket touts to line their rich pockets (again).

i have had a rejection email also. I am also pissed off with HMV, i pre-ordered the new album on hmv.com to be eligible for the 48hr pre-sale, but HMV didn't email me the pre-sale link. I phoned them and they said i was on the email list, all they could say was sorry.

what a lot of bollocks reg the shepherds bush gig in london, took a day off work to stay on-line at home to book a ticket, ticketweb put in on wait then announced it`s sold out, hmv did not have the ticks on sale at all and at 9:30 I`ve found the tickets on other web sites with starting price at £195 up to £375. how can an ordinary fan like me stand a chance to go to PJ gig????
Pearl Jam itself should look at it and do something.
why even offer general sale? its a fan event, we've commited to the band by joining the club, yet they STILL allow the touts to buy and screw us over.

I got a pair of tix! I had waited in the virtual line from 1:15 am to 4 am (EST/EDT?). It was a nuisance and my internet went out for a bit at 2 am but it seemed to place me back into the same place in the queue.
like tenclub had 3 pairs of tickets....joke
I am from Italy and I have already bought tickets for the London concert on August 18th. If I had known about this gig I would have tried to be there rather than at the London o2 arena. Have fun!
The pretense of a "lottery" is a farce..
tenclub only did it because they took so much flack for giving away their Astoria ticket allocation to "selected friends" (i quote their words to me in email). So this time they probably hid the same thing behind the joke lottery....giving other paying members no chance of going....nice "fanclub"

Im all for bands like pj playing small gigs cos its no doubt v cool. However missing out on the tickets was a shame, the odds were high. I rather felt that they could have tryed to play a bigger venue. Ie brix academy. This would have given the fans an even chance on getting a ticket. If i had 350 quid for a ticket id def go. Anyway im seeing them manchester and london so i shouldn't grumble, a third would have put the icing on a very tasty cake.
How come there was no email to tenclub members about this? I've just got back from 2 weeks working overseas with no internet access, but emails got forwarded to my mobile. Favourite band + favourite venue = amazing experience! Unfortunately I didn't find out about it til yesterday so have no chance of going!! (disappointed to see so many extortionately priced tickets on seatwave too!)
