I live in Calgary...and live for Pearl Jam. My friggin wedding is in Mexico...I get back Aug 8th at 7pm. I just hope I can make it from the airport to the grounds by the time they hit the stage! So excited.

Am I the only one who has literally never heard of any one of those other bands? I guess they're big in Canada. Or I need to turn on the radio.
To Cougar9000 if you haven't heard of billy talent, listen to them they are really good and i seen them live a few years ago, they are intense beyond all reason, possibly the 2nd best show i've ever seen, behind pearl jam of course :)

always great to see another pearl jam show but seriously havent they done the festival thing to death? all the other festivals i could understand because they had great lineups but this is a total mystery to me why they're playing this shitty festival. i dont care if you need to be sponsored by verizon wireless again just give me a good show on your own! my .02 worth

Y'know, I never really wanted to move to Calgary area, but this is the second time I'll have seen them there, so I'm starting to be okay with it.
let's hope they get a 2 hour time slot i have never seen a pj show that was less than 2 hours. even eddie vedder solo show was 2 hours

Wow! Pearl Jam returns to Calgary nearly four years after their 2005 Saddledome concert.
This summer I'm volunteering in Zambia so I can't make it... But if they bring the intensity they normally bring I am sure this concert will be a profound experience for all in attendance!
All you Calgarians and Pearl Jam fans enjoy this one twice as much for me!
