Cool! :)
PLEASE have BR open in Philly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG i'd love bad religion at the philly show!!!
just no ted and the pharmacists in Philly.. They were so bad last summer
Cool, saw Bad Religion in Thunder Bay last year, they where great!!!
Please no Ted Leo & The Pharmacists in Philly!!! Saw them last year and that was enough. They are horrible!!
Bad Religion opening for Pearl Jam. Thanks! Takes me back to the Vitalogy days... BR and PJ at Soldier Field (without the use of Ticketmaster.) One of the best punk bands ever opening for one of the best alt rock bands ever. I can't wait to see it again.
I wish I could go, would have loved to see Bad Religion. Going to San Diego show. Did I mention I live in Wisconsin, weird can't see them in Chicago but I can I see them in San Diego figure that one out.
The Fixer kicks ass!

After going and checking out some Ted Leo stuff I am more than willing to show up early and give them a shot. their studio stuff sounds pretty good, I'm not sure that their type of sound will go well in an empty amphitheater though. Fingers crossed Ed makes an early appearance with a pre-set song to get a few more bodies in the seats.
I AGREE please have "BAD RELIGION" opening up in PHILLY!!!!!!! Not to put another band down but
the pharmacists should stick to handing out old peoples medicine than playing music.
Sorry I have to agree I'm not into Ted Leo.... Does anyone like this band?
Can't we get Bad Religion in Toronto? Pleeeeeease. I need to see them again!
Awesome! Bad Religion rocks. For those in Toronto, Ted Leo rocks too!
Guess I can stay at the Toronto pre-party later. I did not enjoy them on the last tour.
Ted Leo + were soooo Great in Philly. WHAT is that matter with you people????! Bet you hated Sleater-Kinney too. - jeeesss.
Aw, I wanted to see Ben Harper. Oh well, this is pretty cool also. Hell, in my opinion, after the 2006 tour, almost any opener is better than My Morning Jacket.
Ted Leo??? OH NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i don't need no more ted leo for philly
God I hope Bad Religion opens in Philly. I was pissed when I missed BR on the warped tour, but if I could catch them as the opener in Philly that would be awesome.
agreed!
mrshock, you're just jesting, right? MMJ probably has to be up there with their best openers. They can headline shows now.
you folks are lucky with Ted Leo, for those that haven't seen em. If you like politically charged punk rock, you're in for a treat. Lot of energy too.
Nice, I've wanted to see bad relegion for a while! Can't wait to see them.
Ahhh, this brings back my first show memories. All we need now is Ottis Rush and it will be complete.
Boo. Did not like them last year (ie. Ted Leo). Guess, I won't be rushing to Molson...
No Ted Leo In philly pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee they sucked so bad last year
love ted leo - puts on a great show every time. would be really happy if they opened in philly.
hahahahaha... i am soooo happy to be able to see rad religion in chicago.
my wife loves ted leo. i am pretty "meh" about them.
This is great news. This could only be better if they gave away free pizza and beer at the Chicago shows.
I saw Bad Religion last month at The Warped Tour in St. Pete, FL. They flippin rocked. Now I just hope they open Philadelphia II
Please come to Argentina in 2010. And bring Bad Religion with you. That would be totally awesome!
I'll be in the parking lot doing the EAGLES chant unless the rumors are true of AIC opening at the spectrum shows.
when I think about the fact that MMJ supporting Z (stellar album) opened up for Pearl Jam supporting that self-titled album (mediocre at best), it sort of blows my mind.
Ted Leo is a pretty good band but MMJ is definitely one of the best bands to open for PJ. Buzzcocks were another great band to play with them, but seeing Bad Religion w/ PJ will be amazing!
It's a throw back to my first show at Soldier Field. Agree with @dislocated that Otis Rush should make an appearance to complete the lineup.
bruce springsteen opening at the spectrum, how awesome would that be !!!
I love Bad Religion!
I'd take springsteen or bad religion for philly opening
E A G L E S Followed by S U C K!
That chant is so played.....Its a rock show not a lame Eagles game.
It will be a cold day in hell when the Eggles win the Bowl.
PJ ROCKS!!!!!
To the posted that was hating on MMJ, youy must be joking
how about this: PLAY AT THE GARDEN!!!!
Greg and Ed for prez!
MF70411, must be a Giants or Cowboys fan. Yes it is a rock show, you are truly a genius in my book, but after several beverages and realizing the Eagles will be in first place at that point in the season, it's only natural to do a drunken Eagles chant. Nothing like drunk adults from Philly showing off their spelling prowess.
I was all excited when I saw Bad Religion as supporting act, but then found out they weren't opening the Toronto show. Damn! I figured it was too good to be true. Ben Harper would have been awesome too. After hearing Ted Leo though I must say he's not too bad at all. The thing is I've yet to see a good opener for PJ except Liam Finn for Eddie's solo show here in T.O. Guess we'll just have to see how Ted does. PJ will rock the house no matter what anyways, and It is always nice being exposed to unfamiliar talent.
I just went to Ted Leo's webpage... first time I've ever heard them, and I gotta say I don't understand why some of you are bashing them... granted, I haven't seen them live, but what I heard on their webpage sounded good.
Remember, an open-mind and having no expectations are key prerequisites when listening to music of any kind.
MMJ...anyone catch them at Lollapalooza a cupla summers ago? They rocked the house, AND they wore their crushed velvet tuxes in Chicago humidity & 90+ temps. Do have to agree w/Mr though - Ben Harper (although headline-worthy himself) would be a kick-ass opener for PJ.
I love Ted Leo, ever since Tyranny of Distance. Fantastic guitar player, and truly punk rock.
Honestly Bruce would be VERY cool & if he can only do 1 night with PJ @ the Spectrum it should be Halloween!!!!!
