No Complaints here!!! The best band in the world is touring!!!! They will play somewhere and then I will hear it for myself and read all about it from people that were there. The feeling of being there is almost as good as being there.
I can't believe people actually complain....have you learned nothing? Or are you still new to this?
Anyway, I'm psyched!!! I need it...and they Got Some! WOHOO!!!
They're not really spreading the wealth these days. Ticketmaster ripoff tickets and limited venues.
This is AWESOME NEWS!!!!!!!!!!
oh my god, pearl jam's closing the spectrum. i think i just creamed. no WAY i miss the show on the 30th.
And if they dont play in your fricking city, get your ass on a plane and go to them!!!! Melbourne to New york is a long way to travel but did it last year!!! If they mean that much to you, you'll go to them!!! they're worth every god damn penny!!!!
So stoked!!!
Australia, NZ, Hawaii, Nov/Dec. there goes another $10,000 on the Jam!!!
I can't believe how ungrateful some of you are....like the band OWES you something. They don't....at all. Just be happy they are even playing a couple of shows---if you want to see them somewhere than other in your backyard, you WILL. Save money, take a vacation and travel to see them. Enough already.
Ticketmaster??? are you serious??? Didn't the Ticketmaster issue die like 10 years ago?? Some people i swear to god!!!!!
Iam SO STOKED!!!! Key ARENA!!!!!
Right on Free The 3!!!!! This great band doesn't owe anybody anything!!! If anything, we owe them for putting smiles on our faces every single goddam day!!!! Travel the world!!!
Lots of time off between San Diego and Philly.
Strange.
Released on a Sunday.
Strange.
Wohooow, this is great - though Seattle is one day too early for my US-trip I might still be able to have one Show :-))) Now I hope I'll be able to get tickets as European - gotta read the details immediately!
Yay!!
See ya in Philly!
No NYC?! Guess I am trekking it to Philly!
May have to look up those friends in Seattle :)
you groupies need to relax. Let them announce the dates and go see the shows and in the meantime shut up and stop complaining. its not like you havent seen them recently. find a hobby if this is all you have to do with your time!!!!!!!!!! and by the way, try not to buy every ticket to every show so others can have an opportunity to buy tickets and Eddie can see more than just the same ugly faces up front.
Yeah!!... last year PJ was touring East Coast. This time they will only do it on the West coast + Chicago & Philly. I think it is fair... next year be prepared for full US Tour...!!!
Mother Fucking hells YEA!!!
Well, all you people who kept complaining about not playing Seattle here you go. Two shows to kick it off and I'm sure it will eventually end there too. I mean your lucky enough to have them as a hometown band. Be grateful for that. Can't wait to here the new album. Being released in a short time from now, hopefully a pre-sale for the album is just around the corner. Happy daze!
Philly......YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES!!!!!
take the time to enjoy the music and experience now because you never know when it will be over...you are lucky to be in a position to purchase tix and attend shows these days. not everyone is so lucky. there are many who would rather complain and act like spoiled little children than be thankful that you have PJ as an escape and part of your life. take it for what it is and stop being a groupy and nit picking what and how they do things. you are not the tour manager and you make many of us normal fans sick.
YES!!!!! This is awesome and I can't wait to hear the new album!!
Viva La Jam!
Last Philly show was in '05 they freagin' killed it, look at the setlist....totally smoking!

IT'S PEARL JAM TIME AGAIN!! BE HAPPY!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
XOXOXOXOXOX
Los Angeles!!! WHooooaaaaooooaaa! I love it.
so once again, not one show in the south. acl is good enough, but seriously, one show in texas for the past 6 years...
Stop whining you spoilt brats! Try living in Africa. They've NEVER been here. NEVER.
Yes!!! Song request for Philly on Oct.30: "Ghost."
Oh Hell Yeah!!! Outside Lands, LA, and SD!!! Live can't get much better
Come to montreal guys!
I am going to do everything I can, just shy of breaking the law to see all four LA shows. That will be an amazing/exhausting week.
I am going to do everything I can, just shy of breaking the law to see all four LA shows. That will be an amazing/exhausting week.
That's awesome! Can we see you in MN anytime soon? It's been awhile and we miss you PJ!!!!
Wishing I had the money/time to travel. Guess I'll have to wait until a full tour next year. Hoping they decide to come to Indy or Lexington, Ky. Have fun everybody.
One last hoorah at the spectrum in philly! I cannot wait!
I love the Gibson - and I can walk to it..
Nice.
.
Let the games begin !!!
Woohoo, gonna try and get over again (3rd time this year) for one of the shows and organise it so I can see Kings Of Leon in America too :)
Pearl jam, another dates in USA, mmm... but in Italy? Do you remember Rome? -_-
If I can get tickets - I'll be the happiest little camper in the whole wide world!
Well said!! PEARL JAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No complaints here, just sucks some of PJ's fans that have families and cant really travel are left out. Good thing I got tickets to one of the Chicago shows and have a very generous babysitter. Just a outlandish thought for us missouri fans who find it difficult to travel: Look into playing Columbia MO someday… we have two Arenas that seat over 17,000 and COMO is located 100 miles from St. Louis and Kansas City. If St. Louis and KC are difficult areas to sell tickets, a location in the middle could be a good place to help out your MO fans for the first time since '04.
why so expensive?
Well, looking forward to the OZ dates!!!
i cant believe they picked the spectrum i get to go there one last time
Jesus!! Amazing!! Can't wait to see more dates, and BEN HARPER AND THE RELENTLESS SEVEN ARE OPENING?!?! Music heaven!!
SWEET i can,t wait
All sides have a point, except spending $10,000 on a trip to see them. LOL! There's a solution. Were you being serious or did you just plan on providing comic relief? I'm going to assume the latter. And if you weren't, send me the money, and I'll do it. And if you were arrogant enough to be 100% serious about that post, than I don't really know what to say. I'm just baffled! And on the last tour, they announced dates all over the place, except for the deep south! So if you want to complain, complain. Don't tell others how silly/stupid they sound or may be for doing so. Say what you want to say. But I bet the other side will say their piece as well. So without further ado, have fun attacking this post. You're typical. Go free speach!
FUCKIN A RIGHT for us Philly fans!!!!!!
I'll be seein' all you lucky ones in Seattle! Won't be able to make any of the other shows, but those two will put me at 25 shows and counting. Greg/Joe...hope to see you there! Get a room close to Key!
what the sam? where is the other 75% of the schedule?
This "tour" sucks
I am going to be patient at this point but we need a show down south!
cant believe they are coming to NEW ZEALAND!!!!!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU........................
It's gonna be even more Sunny in Philadelphia in October! It's alright! It's Okay! There's something to live for Jesus told me so . . . You can drink & dream or you can create and complete! I love Mark & Mike!
jam
Awesome!
i will be attending both seattle shows.
HAHA i knew Ben Harper's band would be the opener! :D Can't wait for the encore with ben.
PHILLY steals it for the east coast! yessssss!
WOW as in wow, why are these tickets so expensive? Seriously, are these the same guys that fought against ticket master to keep show costs low...does anyone else think that over $80 per ticket is a bit much? Really...just wanted to hit one show, and that's not really cost effective. WTF?
What is this??? A Radiohead tour???? Ridiculous!
This will be my first show doing the pre-sale.
Is there any way to know whereabouts the seats will be?
I'm planning on going to the Seattle show and I've only been a member for about 11 months. I'm just hoping not to get stuck in the seats behind the band.
. . . nonetheless, I'll be happy just to be there.
What are people complaining about? I've been taking road trips to see PJ since the 90's. It's a tradition between my BFF and I. We've already got plans in motion to drive from Nashville to Philly for BOTH (we hope) shows. Sure, it's great when the band comes to town or somewhere close by, but I have long-since determined that I'll drive across this country to see my absolute favorite band. And do it happily, cranking bootlegs and smoking countless bowls along the way. Laughing and talking with my bestie, watching the countryside fly by.
Hell, in many ways that makes the whole PJ show experience that much sweeter. I'm ready to drive to Philly right now!
You won't get stuck behind the band. You'll have good seats, probably flanking the stage probably mid way up or higher. Although I did once get stuck with some crappy seats-waaaaaaay in the back, it was on the Vote for Change tour and I don't know how much control they had over seat allocation. The show was still amazing and we loved every minute of it. And, no, there is no way to know where your seats will be until you pick up your tickets.
No matter where they are, you will have a great time. Good luck getting tickets!
$66 a ticket...damn
Sounds good. I'm excited for Seattle. Now just to decide whether to try for 1st day, second day, or both . . .
I have been waiting for this day finally LA and San Diego I can't wait
I prepared for this Eddie I'll see you all LA shows and my home town San Diego.
speach???? all these predicaments.. my first baby is due at the end of oct early nov. guess that takes care of the second ten club tickets at all of the shows.
Hope to see Them in LA.Ciao
We need a New Zealand Tour it has been 11 years! Please.
Strongly considering flying to the U.S. to see them. Flew to Australia from New Zealand twice now to see them, last time being the extra concert in Sydney on 18.11.06 and it was well worth it. Easily the best concert I have ever been at. It makes me laugh how the "fans" that have posted comments above complain about PJ not touring their cities... PJ haven't toured New Zealand for 11 years and I'm not complaining, wouldn't mind if they did however, PJ and the boys from Spilt Endz singing "I See Red", "History Never Repeats" and "I Got You" will be soldered in my memory for ever.
See you soon! Where who knows!!
Great chance to show off the new Stickman tattoo!!! Anybody know the Vegas odds of getting tix to BOTH Philly shows??? Hahaha
lukinvedder..... can you elaborate?????
This sucks - I just flew to Baltimore to see Ed, which was awesome (the show and the city), but why is Ohio consistently overlooked by these guys? Come to Columbus! Reward us for all of our hard work in turning this state and country from red to blue!!
YES!!!!!!
Ok, now NYC.
as most know the NY/CT metro area has hundreds of thousands of PJ
fans.
Nikon at Jones Beach please......................
why are they playing Gibson four time in a row?
PLEEEAAAAASSSSSEEEEEE COME TO NYC PLEEZE
San Diego hellllll yeah!!!! I am there!!! Thank you PJ
Going to make a romantic anniversary weekend getaway to Seattle! Thank you PJ. Please, they haven't been to Arizona since...just have to go to them :) Yea!!!
what about Argentina???? any date? PLEASE COME SOON!!!!!
damn girl, right on!!
still smiling about Philly!!!
so wait, what time exactly to pre-sale tickets go up? it just says monday the 13th but no given time...
Oh man, my two favorite musicians are touring together and they don't go anywhere near MA :'(
Hopefully they'll add more dates or Harper will still open for them when they go on a full tour next summer.
coming to the land of OZ onya mates
The spectrum shows should be friggin outstanding, outstanding! It's been a talked about location for years and the final Pearl Jam show at the Spectrum before they blast it down.
$167 per pair? Why so much? Is it because the cost of gas? I remember when I first heard Eagles tickets were over $100 per ticket and thinking, at least Pearl Jam are keeping ticket prices reasonable....I guess this is the cost of living in America today. Keep on rocking in the free world!
No Denver in 3 years, and 500 shows in Chicago
$149 a pair? Seriously? I remember paying $40 a pair at the exact same venue (Key Arena). What happened to Pearl Jam being concerned about ticket prices? It makes the whole ticketbastard boycott a moot point. At least back then PJ could claim they were making an effort to bring the music to the fans and it turned out ticketbastard was a necessary evil.
You can't tell me the ticket price is attributed to the cost of their production. PJ production has always been minimal, and when bands like Blink 182 can do a whole tour only charging $20 for lawn seats, Pearl Jam appears to be a little more concerned about making a couple extra bucks than bringing the music to their fans.
Don't get me wrong, I firmly believe the supply and demand philosophy, but when, as a band, a guiding principle has always been to not be a big ugly machine, it is a big turn off to see how much tickets for "Ten Club" members are.
Now people are complaining about PJ's ticket prices! WTF? When you go to a fine restaurant you order the best wine. That's what PJ is. Blink 182? That should be $20 bucks that's what there worth. I don't think PJ's prices are unfair at all considering the caliber a song writers and musicians they are. Not to mention the charities they support. I would assume most of us get a raise every year at our jobs. So why shouldn't they?
When you're sucking on that teet, try not to bite down so hard.
cant wait to see pearl jam. and the prices are right for the amzing band you are going to see.
YES!!!!! 1st i get to see Ed's solo gig in Philly @ tower theatre & after almost 15 yrs of LOVING this band i shook the great ED VED's hand that night!! Greatest night of my life! Philly here i come again in oct.!! Pearl Jam, you guys HAVE to come to Pittsburgh PA to Mellon Arena before they tear it down!! We are the Super Bowl & Stanley Cup CHAMPS!!!! Now we need P.J. to rock Mellon Arena 1 last time!!!!! Cant wait to see you guys & cant wait to get my hands on that new album!!! Im totally geeked!!!! KEEP ROCKIN!!!!!
Can't wait till sept.20....NEW MUSIC! I live in South Carolina & seem 'em tear up the Gamecocks house in columbia last. Hope they play the bi-lo center again here in greenville. find that setlist & tell me it isn't one of the best of the Yeild tour! God bless those guys... and us fans too. ALL HAIL THE NEW ROLLING STONES(Minus the years of drug abuse & womanizing!).
Sorry for the stupid question but the pre-sale for LA tickets go on sale this Monday but no time was stated. Anyone out there know?
Thanks.
i was wondering the same thing GM50667
PHILLIES ONLY A COUPLE HOURS DONT BE WUSSIES
this is no tour,,,,,,,,,,its more like rehearsal dates
PHILLY wants Ben too! =(
does anyone know for sure if they are gonna do a whole US tour next year or something?
Come on Pearl Jam! Those ticket prices seem a lil' high but that's not my gripe. Phoenix , AZ is the 5th largest city in the nation and we have been avoided for over six years!! I have seen them play many times. I (WE) help pay their salaries. There is nothing wrong with voicing your opinions about your favorite band. I'm broke like the most of us but I will come up with $200 per ticket if needed just get back to the Valley of the Sun!
what a buncha "restless souls"...ever heard of "adding more dates to the tour"? people are so stupid to complain at this point. maybe if you were a real fan you would travel more than two hours to watch your favorite band and not whine the day after a few dates are announced.
Kenobi77 your not very good at reading are you? It says "closing" in Philly meaning the tour ends there. And there "may be" potential additional dates. And some of us unlike you have jobs and can't just drop everything and drive tweleve hours to see a band. And this whole "they don't owe us anything" I think its pretty damn even. We get great music and in return they're millionaires because of us. So it's funny considering the economic times that Ten Club tickets are the highest they've ever been. Between 75-85 bucks a ticket? Maybe its out of their hands.
But this webmaster or the band should of done a better job explaning if this is a warm up (stp is doing the same thing a few shows than a full fledge tour in the winter) or really the only shows they are going to do.
Although I am light years from THE city I am so glad the boys are focusing on Seattle again!!!
I wish i could see them there!
Have fun girls and boys on the road in September and October!
HEY GUYS--FALL IS A BEAUTIFUL TIME TO COME TO NEW HAMPSHIRE--YES NEW HAMPSHIRE. WE HAVE THE MOUNTAINS, LAKES AND FOLIAGE IN PRISTINE COLORS THAT TIME OF YEAR. CHECK US OUT (SERIOUSLY) @ http://www.meadowbrook.net/
IF YOU DO COME TO THE BOSTON AREA, PLEASE NOT MANSFIELD--A GIANT PAIN GETTING IN AND OUT.
HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!
YES! I'll be there in Seattle!
excited to have them as one of the final acts at the Philly Spectrum before they tear that historic facility down, only fitting to rock the foundation one more time. Stoked for those shows.
Let 'em "whine"! You don't know their situation. Say whay you want people. I love Pearl Jam, but I still retain my soul. Complaining is a way of some of these fans show that they care! And if you live in Florida, a couple of hours drive won't cut it!
Can't wait for the Spectrum shows!!! PJ rocking out the Spectrum!!!
I'm sure they are going to pull out all the stops for these shows. What a way to close out the Spectrum. I saw them 4/28/03 at the Spectrum and the show was one of the best PJ shows I have seen!!! Pysched beyond reason. Wish Ben Harper would be opening.
i appreciate it any time PJ tours, but i would like to see a longer one. Also, im only going to be able to go to one show and im going to have to fly. A weekend show would have been a relief for I work and go to college. But whatever. Cant Wait to see you guys for the 16th time.
