Pearl Jam's official website (www.pearljam.com) will be the exclusive distributor for live bootleg recordings from their upcoming tour in support of their 9th studio album "Backspacer".
Shows will be available in three formats- MP3, flac and Burn-on-Demand Compact Discs.
Shows will be mixed and mastered and available within weeks of the show date.

Call me brain dead but can anyone tell me what " Burn On Demand CD's " means??? Is it a download system where we immediately download the shows to disk or is it going to be like the 2008 CD bootleg set that we order??? I would WAY RATHER buy them on CD's like last year!!!!! It was soooo cool & easy & personally i would love to have them on CD from the 10 club rather than download them on my own... Anyone have any ideas please share... Thanks! I am super fuc*#@g excited to have new bootlegs though!!!!! AWESOME!!!

"Burn on demand" means they will make the shows available on CD based on demand. This is what they actually did for the 2008 tour where every show is still available to order. At some point very soon, I imagine PJ will stop production of the 2008 tour bootleg CDs since the demand will be low.
I also think the reason some shows will not be available for the new tour may be due to the fact that they are part of a festival. Although Bonnaroo was available to purchase from the 2008 tour, it seems shows like this are a rarity in terms of availability. Just a theory though.

Thanks Pearl Jam and 10 Club - it is these little treats (the boots and the posters or each individual show) that make you guys the best. it allows all of us to relive the great memories of those one, two, three or more shows they we have been fortunate to get to and experience in person over the course of a tour.
I also hope that the discs come with the same cool packaging that you did last year - the little box.

Make the whole tour available on CDs! Got to agree on the boxset front - the American set is awesome to have in my two hands (hehe). Technology is great, but anyone can have a hard-drive full of MP3s!

just because the 2009 EU shows aren't yet in the "bootleg" section, it doesn't mean they will not be made available. just take it easy and give time to the guys here to organise things!
I am sure in a few weeks time all the EU shows will be listed and we will be able to download them!

Might mean some of the festival shows won't be available. There's always weird rules about distributing festival recordings.
I think they will not be able to offer all of their Festival appearances for bootlegs. I know for sure ACL Fest will not be included as they like to get first dibs in post-show marketing.

I hope the final show at the spectrum will be one of the one's that are released. The tickets for that show say Pearl Jam and special guest. That might be special guestwho do not want the release of their songs.

How about releasing bootlegs for the Solo Tour shows. "Eddie Vedder Solo Tour Box Set" Just about everyone would purchase it. Hey, if Eddie could share a beer with me in Baltimore, then why not share the music? They were absolutely amazing shows. Mahalo Hawaii!!! It would be extremely nice to hear them again.
Please release the UK shows, out of 5 gigs I've seen they've only managed 2 official boots so far... and that's too low a ratio!!!!

I was at the Rotterdam Ahoy show last night, and if they don't release this concert on bootleg, it'll make me cry tears of disappointment. This was the tightest set (28 tunes!) I have ever heard them play, and I've been seeing PJ since the Off Ramp days. As a Seattle native transplanted to the Netherlands, I plead with those in charge to please -- pretty please -- release the Europe shows on bootleg. Dank je wel! ~Paula
I am hoping that London O2 is on the list of bootlegs. I am way more excited than a 40 year old should be about seeing PJ there for the first time ever. had tickets for Paris a couple of years ago but couldn't go cos it was my daughters first day at school. I have been waiting for this since Ten :)

London last night was amazing. I'll definitely buy it :)
O2 has to be released, it's the best of the 8 concerts I have been to over the years. Crowd was amazing, atmosphere was electric and the set was stunning. The band was incredible form.

The O2 on Tuesday was the best Pearl Jam gig I've ever been to and the best set list I've seen, I was in my element. Can't wait till this is released as a bootleg, will be checking back every day for it.

It says 2009 bootlegs, also said will be available within weeks of the show. The first show of this tour was on the 8th it's only been 2 and a 1/2 weeks. Hopefully soon!!!

I feel the same. Since Pearl Jam has never come to Colombia and I'm a die hard fan, I've had to travel to see them. Ahoy was definitely the best.
