Mike McCready and Flight To Mars Perform 8th Annual Benefit Concert at Seattle’s Showbox

Flight to Mars, the UFO Tribute featuring Mike McCready, Gary Westlake, Paul Passereli, Kelly Van Camp, Ty Bailie and Tim DiJulio, will perform their 8th annual benefit concert at Seattle’s Showbox on Friday, April 23rd.

Tickets are on sale this Saturday, February 6th at 10am PST at ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets and in-person at the Showbox box office. Tickets are $20 each. The show is 21+.

Flight to Mars will be joined by special guests Sweet Water.

Mike is the greatest guitarist ever put on this earth. I've been a devoted fan/listener for more than 17 years. His guitar riffs seem to fly with the heat of the sun and align with the planets in a way that most could only dream of or spend most of their lives just trying to figure out. I'm getting married in August of '10 and I know that 90% of the music will involve some of Mike's greatest moments. Mike is an inspiration to all that have been blessed enough to hear him and is a legend to those of us who understand how important music is to our lives. My future wife and I are paying for the entire occasion. If we have any money left we're going to try and see him play:)

By the way, If your reading this Mr. Mccready. We'd love to formally invite you to our special day. It's a small wedding but lot's of great food and wonderful people. Feel free to invite some of those friends of yours you've known since '91 It's a long shot but hey we're your biggest fans and what an honor it would be. Anyways good luck in 2010:)
