WTF is this? Weird stuff Jack.

certainly different
i like it

Jack: lay off the drugs.

cuz this is a bad MGMT b-side. the skeletal drums are cool though.

I was wondering what happened to the go gos. Groovy though:)

its definatly an art form, have to watch with an open mind.

wtf..will not be listening to this again

the worst thing pj has ever advertised...
seriously wtf is this?

ps i love pj

I am glad PJ advertised this. It is nice to see them looking out for and helping an old friend. Plus, whether you liked this video or not as PJ fans we should all love Jack. He was the glue that held the band together through some tough times in the nineties. So way to go Jack, I salute you and your efforts.

I agree w/ you spell06...Jack was huge during the no code/yield days...i can even be a lil picky at times...but i definately have a open mind(prolly a lil too much open space in there), but i have to admit, this is pretty cool. way trippy/way crazy/just over all woooaa!!

This is some groovy, far-out shit! Nice job Jack.

I'm diggin it, Jack. Nice video too. Has a kinda late 80s/early 90s feel.

sounds no code-ish

LOL!!!!!!

I like it. Can't wait for the album.

The result tells me that you can go far these days with a cellphone with video capability, $10 worth of facepaint, good friends willing to provide a few hours of their time dancing in deserts ... and even better friends to broardcast it on their fantastic website. The video itself put me off my cornflakes (if you know what I mean) but its a fun statement and jack deserves our best wishes.

I like this song...it has a good rhythm and a happy feeling to it,also it is about love, that is a good thing.Thankyou Jack!

Wow! Love it! I will ever be grateful to Jack for keeping PJ together, and love his innovative yet ancient world beats... but he is not the kind of drummer which fits with PJ live... love my Mattie, but will be buying Jack's album... :)

I have no response to that

Oh my fucking God, how many stupid people replying to this. I read a couple of good answers which is in line with what all PJ fans should think. This SUCKS. Sorry to be harsh, but to say this is No Code-ish, interesting, groovy gotta me kidding me. I'd make 10 cooler songs a day than that!

supernova, who the hell are you to tell PJ fans what we "should think??" Have you listened to Jack's solo work before?? He has not typically written songs that are easily accessible to the average listener. His writing is always centered around rhythms that morph and bounce around eachother, the rest is usually pretty unique. Not every PJ fan is going to appreciate Jack's work, hell a lot of PJ fans had never heard of The Whale Song until Lost Dogs came out, and even still a lot don't know it. Fewer have probably heard his last solo album.
I think this song is cool as hell just for the outro-chorus and the way it progresses through it. It may not please your ears, but who the fuck made you the almighty PJ-related-music critic???

why the hell is this video even posted here, it´s trash...
sorry jack irons fans, but i also don´t want to have him in the band again, thank god for matt!!!

interesting...not exactly my favorite but I like the rythm :)
Supernova and Glass Ghost...shhhhh....no need for all your hatred...everyone gets to have their opinion :) Peace, love, trust...Pearl Jam is LOVE :)

Lipstick and a 5 o'clock shadow... we loved it, laughing, smirking, gawking, it reminded my of a parody of a friend SugarKayne. EXCELLENT BEAT :)

Love it !!! Loved Attention Dimension too. Obviously this will go over many heads...but would we want it any other way??? true art. (some people aren't ready for the future.)

the music..well...tastes are different, i guess ... but the best part of this is the video ... thank you sophia deininger ... great video ... not embarassing at all ... doesn´t remind me of fifth grade video classes a single second ... wow ... that´s funny ... and the grat dancers on the hill with their funny future style masks ... real art ... super fantastic ... into the future ... going over many heads ... i´d call it on the edge ... ahem ...

on the other hand it is written with an `e´- great, and who am i to judge and who should even care ...

This is wierd.

Liked it. Great rythm! Don't know if I would listen to it on a regular basis, but def. appreciated it as art, and the damn good rythm. As far as the video goes It's really not that far off from really early Red Hot video's...I'm talkin 80's Chillies, so this didn't come across as weird to me at all. I was raised on 80's Red Hot weirdness..yeah before they started selling records with Under the Bridge and were actually punk.

All I need is to be in a NYC basement with glow sticks and some molly and just maybe I would be able to groove to this song. I like Jack, I do. But this song was messy and far too out there for me. No resemblance to No Code through my ears. I hope the album gets some sales by I will not be purchasing it. No disrespect to those who like it.

The Whale Song rocks. Jack is Wack

im glad jack irons is still kickin ass. i wish him the best of luck. although this song is pretty strange and far out there i dug it. at least he is doing what he wants. GO JACK!!

Looks like another round of Jack Attack. Glad to see him back I thought he cracked, well gotta go pay aflack. Does this sound whacked oh well good luck Jack time for me to hit the sack.

Check out his Facebook page. 2 new tracks are up. Sonic Tonic & Nothing Opens Everything. Loving this track. :) In his bio notes the '.
