Cmon man...

Should be a great time! Both DC shows last summer were amazing.Remember a few years back the Southeast got hosed so it sucks for you guys but they seem to be spreading the love.....

lame

Nashville!!! Hope I win the ticket lotto!

When you coming 2 ireland seen you twice in torono last yr amazing pity we can't buy ticket's 4 this tour do would've enjoyed nashville

Utah isn't so fucking bad, just make a stop here for God's sake! At least California or Vegas....

Oh well, here's to hoping for some closer shows on a PJ tour...

fricken awesome...EV you made my summer

What's with the Seattle no show's??? I'm in the UK and even find this weird!!!

Please come to Italy soon!!!!!
all the best for super de luxe content.
Guido e RIzzu are very sad please come......

When in Italy,please,please.........please.

There's this chunk of the US between Cali and TN that is always forgotten. Not much of a surprise. I know the random selecting of ticket sales sounds good, but I predict complaints in that as well.

We really miss you in Mexico, last time was 2005! any plans to tour here soon?

dude. how can you not play seattle/sf/la?

sadness....

oh sorry for posting that 3 times my computer is wacky.
But im still pissed off/confused/depressed about this!
All im asking is ONE seattle show.

Awesome! I'll actually get to see him this time! Looking forward to it!

eddie, it's easy to come in europe ... after my Los Angeles's trip I haven't money ...

Don't forget the other fans in the rest of the world ... please !

my favorite combination of statements...
"The pre-sale will begin immediately "

and

"No exchanges or transfers will be allowed, so make absolutely sure you are able to attend the concert selection. "

Looks like I'm going to have to settle for going to Hawaii.

Ed
Please come to UK.

YEAHHHHHHHHHH, i hope i get those tickets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well, they did a west coast tour last year, and then announced an east coast tour a little bit later. I'm contemplating flying in to philly for the friday show from San Francisco... but that makes for an expensive concert...

I'll hold out until they hopefully post another set of dates on the west coast again! BERKELEY BERKELEY BERKELEY!!!

Please come to Northern California...

I was gonna say that I would skip this and wait for a PJ tour, but again a show is on my bday, I cant turn that down. I hope to get these Phili tix!!

Am I the only one really confused by the wording of this pre-sale????

i love Ed but I can't travel to see him beyond MI, OH or Indiana. I know we are poor in these parts of the country, but dang, a small show will still sell out.

thanx again

"the rest of the world"

No Detroit again??? Come on Ed. You can do it!!!!! Still love ya.

Please play Europe too...

ok...so, what if we can't attend a confirmed show, but can attend a rollover show? are we mandated to reserve tickets for a confirmed show in order to be considered for a rollover show? i just "reserved" tix for june 9th, but didn't reserve anything for june 8th, because i can't attend june 8th.

so am i going to be booted then from the june 9th selection process? see, it doesnt say above that you HAVE TO PURCHASE CONFIRMED DATES in order to be CONSIDERED FOR ROLLOVER.

and when does the public onsale start? i don't see any mention of that here or in my email.

help please...thank you.

Hartford 08
Front Row Center baby!

no fuckin texas. again. seriously.

PJ Fans = whiney, spoiled brats.

"why not my city" take what your given and like it otherwise buy a plane ticket-

Yeay!!! I'm so excited! I'm crossing my fingers that I get tix for 6/12 in PHILLY baby!!! Woo Hoo!!

Memphis!!!!!!!

MIDWEST??!!! Golly!

Road Trip! Can't wait!!! <3

I just hope I get the tickets. I have never been able to get any tickets that are random pics.

Thanks for coming to Baltimore Ed!

We need cali in the tour Ed!

Dear Ed,

It seems there is enough time in between Atlanta and Maui for a show in LA. Just wanted you to know.

:)

We need cali in the tour Ed!

That's what planes, trains, and automobiles are for!!!!!!!

Looks like I will be heading back to HI! Sweet Eddie thanks for these gifts!

Oh geez. He already played some of those places!!! Quit being so damn selfish and whiney. Buy a plane ticket.

i know :( boston looooves pj :( c'mon add some more dates :), you can play at my house

Hey, What the HAY; no ARIZONA. Last time they were here Eddie said he had a little heat stroke. Come in April instead of June it's alot cooler. OK..Thanks We'll see you then..

Nashville and Memphis!!! That's a great treat being as they don't play much around there. Thanks, Ed!!!

I know NYC was played last time around but the tickets sold out so quickly i could not get any :(

Play NYC again...pleazzzze

Hey Ed,
Any chance of playing those ATL shows during the day? The Yankees are in town that same week. DAMN IT!!!!

Come on Ed, what about Sheffield Arena in good ole blighty!!

again no Europe............

Yeah...for everyone whining about not having a show in their city...PJ nor EV have played Memphis since 2000! Y2K!! (Touring Band DVD for Christ Sakes!!!) They did hit Nashville and Little Rock during a Riot Act Leg in 2004?

So it's been at least 5 years for this area, 9 for Memphis! Its about time!!! And hey Eddie, bring the rest of the boys in the Fall for the "TEN Reissue" Tour!!

NO Toronto, very sad! :(

NO EUROPE AGAIN - I'M SAD :-((

No where in the midwest... I'm in Indiana, we were skipped completely on the last PJ tour too... :*(

Yay...I hope I get tix! Too bad I'm not still with my ex; it would have been fun to surprise him with a concert and a road trip. :)

I moved from CA to HI and Ed is coming to HI three shows... one here on Maui. exciting morning! I hope I get tickets though, that's a small venue. Leave the island tickets for people who live here, we sooo rarely get this!!

Charm City!!!

No Texas shows??? :(

Hey ed how about NJPAC

No Chicago? That makes me slightly sad. Hoping for another announcment.

Whats the point of another eddie solo tour anyways???...its not like he has any new solo songs to play, it will just be the same one we saw last year...I would rather wait for a new pj album/tour announcement instead is all I am saying...And whats with the no seniority rule again?...they better not do this for when PJ tours next...I mean wahts the point of renewing the membership all these years if they don't do seniority seat placement anymore?

I don't think a ticket lottery of sorts is particularly fair..It should be first come first serve. If you care enough to be here to put in your info and buy the tix as soon as a pre-sale begins, then you obviously are one of the fans who most love the band/musician enough to deserve those seats..

I prefer tix to see PJ instead, but still...10C should take that into consideration for the pre-sale for the band's next tour. Maybe I should email them about it just to be sure they know my opinion...

No Brazil... like always. That's sad.

I'll be at the opening show in Albany!!!
and maybe the the second night as well. ;)

So me, as an Australian resident, am not allowed to buy tickets to a concert in Hawaii for which I am located geographically closer than many US and Canadian residents?

I've been in the 10c for 14 years. I don't do public ticket sales for PJ when I've given so much.

How about a fair go for your international fans, particularly us Aussies who seem to miss out on everything? We've never had a club show, we've never seen Ed solo and probably never will here - surely the 4 or 5 tickets we might actually buy for a Hawaii show would not disadvantage the already long spoiled US and Canadian crowd?

I find it absurd and unfair that you would resort to such restrictions.

I agree LongRoad

As a New Zealander i'm used to being passed over, i'm going to be in Honolulu when Eddie plays, looks like I will have to take my chances with ticketmaster

10club don't care about fans outside the usa and england, remember the astoria gig and the last shows of eddie solo, only people from usa and canada can have tickets, when PJ came in europe anyone coul buy tickets, they was not reserved for only europeans citizens last year I cross the ocean to go in LA and been obliged to buy tickets on ebay, first thing the deluxe edition, enough ! I understand your frustration brother longroad, but they don't give a damn anyway

So when will we know if we get them or not? I don't see a date anywhere. Even a general idea would be nice.

$162...remember when ed and pearl jam were dedicated on keeping ticket prices low?

The fact that Americans and other international citizens can come to MY country and take the front row seats at EVERY show only angers me more that I can't buy one measly ticket to a show - not even PJ mind you - in Hawaii.

If that is to be the case, then Americans SHOULD NOT be allowed to get 10c tickets in Australia, NZ, Europe or anywhere else from now on. Why should we have to watch them get front row centre every night, despite the fact they have seen hundreds of shows?

Double standards. What goes one way should also go the other.

when was the last time any member of the band was in the state of texas?

Why not this city, why not that city...Geez people...he can;t play everywhere. If you want to see Ed travel and see him. Stop the complaining already! As far as International folks go.... find someone here that has an extra or try through ticketmaster. I know, it sucks, it's not fair. Oh well, life goes on. We had president Bush for 8 years! We suffered too.

awesome
but no seniority?????

Random in the first few rows fine but no seniority? What is this a vegas game of chance??

and to all you international folks

sorry but the band lives in the US and most of its fans are in the northeast united states.

Please stop complaining, people. You say that you are fans, and yet you complain? Be happy that there is even a new tour at all, OK? Eddie and/or the full band don't have to tour at all, and if we keep complaining, they may stop! I am sorry, but true fans would be glad that people in other cities were getting the chance to enjoy the experience. I know I am. If I get lucky with Baltimore tickets, great! If I don't, I'll try to get them elsewhere. But you certainly won't hear me complaining about it.

I wonder what 10C mean by 'participating members'...I only joined recently - although I've been a fan since the beginning - and have made only one previous post! Not that this concerns me now as I live in the U.K but I'm hoping & praying that at least PJ come to the U.K (please!), although I would have absolutely loved to have seen Ed (pretty please!!)

I know he cant play everywhere, but but my home state of Missouri has been ignored since '04. Since then I have traveled to San Fransisco and Chicago (twice) to see PJ. As of last year, I have a daughter and its difficult to travel. That said, I am having some withdrawls! I need to see my boys! (Or just Eddie would do too) :-)

1vs5 - why should we have to find someone who has an extra ticket?
Why should we have to do that when Americans can hire out the first 3 rows on every show on every Australian tour? The same people every night in the same seats. What a joke!
Yet a few Aussies/Kiwis are not allowed to take a measly number of seats in Hawaii at least?

I'm not asking Ed to come to Australia, I'm asking that ALL members have equal ticket opportunities. If we are willing to spend $2k+ to travel to another country to see him, why are they trying to stop us?

This is not Ed's fault, this is an administration problem that HAS to be addressed - if another Oceania tour comes and the same Americans/Internationals get the prime seats again, well there might be a lot more outrage this time round.

The point is - they can take our best tickets but we can't take a couple of theirs. Let me just go back and calculate how much I've spent on PJ and donated to the 10c in the past 15 years, only about $20,000 - not worthy enough apparently.

All of you all that are complaining. I think you forget that all of you in big cities get other shows that us in smaller markets do not get. EVER!! Now you don't get one show you are complaining. Where's the love??

Hope you all enjoy. Boston was great last summer.

Really vh92419 how old are you ?when you are talkin about "true fans" what is a true fan, a true fan is never be frustrated ? I do not understand

and for Get_Right "sorry but the band lives in the US and most of its fans are in the northeast united states." bush too and he put the damm hell all over the world, your argument is unvalid

And I am thinking to all people who get fucked again, my tenclubmember fee as an international tenclub member is the same that the other, why I don't get the same right ? Can you answer this ?

And stop that with PJ is from US so they play for US, If it so, they can only sell record in the USA :-) once again international money issued of goods seeling is cool but for the shows it's only for the same people.

That is totally unfair and it shows no respect at all for the fans who are living outside canada and usa.

Sure wish you cud buy single tkt. to a show, since you might have a better chance of getting tkt(s). Also there should be a way to buy rollover show tkts, only if you missed out on the first nite.Glad they're playing in Albany...can't wait to see EDDIEEEE!!!!!!

your once again putting limits on valid international members - fine then ... i hope 10c intend on giving the same courtesy to every other country too

10c tickets to that countries citizens only.

make it a rule for one, a rule for all. im sure smaller countries like australia being limited to australian/new zealand 10c only would make a hella lot of US members a bit upset. same with smaller euro countries.

bla bla bla gimme the whole band

Finally, a return to the southeast. I was beginning to think that we had been blacklisted down here. Maybe Bonnaroo softened you guys up? Ed in Nashville in June, then maybe the whole band back in the fall? Sounds great to me. BTW: Pearl Jam at the Ryman is my ultimate rock&roll fantasy show. But I'll take Ed at the Ryman as a wonderful stand-in. Can't wait!

Honestly, what's up??? No Texas again!!! You're killing me.

Yeah...I have to strongly disagree with Get_Right about the location of the majority of fans. Grunge was and still is pretty big in the South. I don't know anyone who is not a PJ fan and I am from Birmingham, AL. I will most likely make the drive to Atlanta if I can manage to afford the tickets for four people. I have never see them/him live and it's a huge deal for me. I'm psyched!

My sons who are 11 and 13 have recently became obsessed with PJ with the oldest mimicing Eddie's vocals to "Alive" from the shower and the youngest attempting to play Yellow Ledbetter on his guitar. One day they will be on the cover of Rolling Stone citing PJ as their greatest influence and how cool would I be for allowing them to miss school and taking them to a show..They are psyched too.

169$ not including tax...IN PHILLY? Are there student prices ha. Guess im one less person you dont have to worry about getting you tics. Especially when i bought the 10 package for a ridiculous 140$ acouple months ago.

Albany,NY --Thank you, June 8 it's my birthday to. AWESOME! THANKS ED CAN'T WAIT.

you just know there will be a second leg later on this year. be patient friends. he's just covering some of the spots that weren't played the last 2 solo tours. i'm sure the last leg not announced yet will be the southwest region, not including california though. it's all part of the big plan, just wait...

so excited! glad to see the south is getting a little recognition. and in the ryman - my favorite venue in the states by a landslide!

This news has made my day!!

Saw Eddie in DC. wow. Will there be new music this time?
When is the public sale?
Does this mean no PJ tour or is this the warmup.

All you west-coasters; didn't you get a solo Ed tour already?

Keeping fingers crossed that I get tickets this time around since it's my 50th birthday that weekend and I can't think of anywhere else I'd rather spend it than at an EV show. Thanks Ed and 10C for the opportunity to celebrate this milestone with great music and good people I've met over the years at PJ shows.

YEAH WE WANT BOSTON!!!!!!!!!!

We want Montreal

Bummer man.... no Phoenix!! You haven't been here since 2003!! I can't afford to travel to anymore shows right now (I am a teacher and have you heard about the frickin education fiasco that is going on right now?!?) ugh.

Please add another show near AZ. I drove to CO to see you in 06 and met Mike and Stone.....the best time of my life! Can't even remember what Tom Petty sang that night. :)

Thanks for the memories....can't wait to make more!

Peace.

News is better than expected, will cost less now. Been waiting for this info since April 1st. I didn't think I'd eve be able to actually see an EV solo show, hopefully I will get my "Second Chance"! :)

Please be happy with what you have. There are so many fan he can't go everywhere. He has to go to the big population centers and the places he didn't go last time.

june 15th is my birthday. i might be moving to baltimore. family in fells point. mets got three against the orioles on the 16th-18th. sooooooooo heading down there!!!

Hey, Pearl Jam played in my home town of Thunder Bay, Ontario, which I thought could never possibly happen. So keep the faith everyone.

13 years ago I took this incredibly hot girl to a PJ concert in Phoenix. She only went out with me for the tix. Married for over 10 years and two kids later, we just went to the San Diego show at Spreckles. Best trip and show of our lives. No better excuse for a
Hawiian trip.

noworries, that is an awesome story! Hope you have a great time in Hawaii! I'm still holding out for ACL or anything a little closer to Texas, but I am oh so happy for all of you that get to see this tour!

i'm disappointed that buffalo was overlooked. the band has been here a couple times, and the shows were some of their best. but they have skipped buffalo a few times and ed has skipped us as well. it's too bad because buffalo has some amazing venues for this type of show. maybe someday? i can't believe that albany is getting one, and maybe, two shows.

Here's to Eddie comin back to the home of the RATS, Albany. Big and small, clean and dirty. See ya in a few months Eddie

SO when Pearl Jam comes to Australia and New Zealand, only Australian and New Zealand 10C members should be allowed to purchase tickets. I think its only fair. Would love to go to Hawaii to see Ed but the chances of getting a ticket are Zero. Please consider this as Aus gets to see Pearl Jam once in a blue moon, would be nice to have front rows full of Aussies and Kiwi's.

To all you lucky buggers going to an Ed Solo show, I hope you all Rock the roof off the house!!

Today was the day I saw Pearl Jam for the first time it was 4/8/94, 15 years ago!!!! A sad day but a great show! I just put in for the Jun 14 Baltimore, MD Lyric Opera House show pre sale! Ill keep my fingers crossed for a pair! Long Live Pearl Jam, Long Live Mr. Vedder! Thanks for the music guy's!
KC

Show was awesome in Boston last summer, hopefully everyone will enjoy and I can make it to Albany this summer, and hope for a full PJ tour end of summer of fall!

My post is written with all due respect to each 10C member who has the freedom to post their thoughts. I encourage you to take a moment and put things in perspective. I believe you each have a choice to make.

I agree it is rough watching tours pop up in places far enough away that it would cost several hundred dollars for travel alone and then a couple hundred more for the tickets. It is also rough knowing a concert is only a few hours away but not being able to get your hands on tickets. I have been a fan since 1992 and each year I wish and cross my fingers that I will get to go to a show. I have only seen PJ in concert 3 times in those 17 years and I don't believe there is any better way to experience their music...

I have a choice to make each time they post a tour. I own the decision about whether to go into debt to travel and see the band that has truly consumed my soul for the past 17 years.. I have to recognize that I am but one person (out of how many fans?), without a lot of money, and charging hundreds so I can sit in the last row of the balcony (due to cost of tickets in the aftermarket world) isn't very financially sound. We each choose what is best for us personally. We each choose what our dollar limit is for attendance. Sometimes we just have to accept that it isn't going to work out the way we would like. We can choose to be angry (for whatever reason) and decide to find another band that isn't so popular or expensive... or we can choose to enjoy listening to their music everyday regardless of the touring opportunities because we are 'moved' by their artistic ability.

We each have a choice to make. I choose to continue to love and support this band and their music from a distance because that is what I must do. I have to be patient. I may just have to write my 'last will and testament' to include the requirement and funding source for the band to be hired to play at my funeral when I die. Hopefully, my funeral won't be my 4th PJ concert... but I will take it if that is all I can have.

As with most "issues" in the US, we can choose to accept things the way they are or we can fight for change. If you are not content with accepting the price of the tickets, the location of the concerts, or whether they tour at all in a given year... your energy could probably be better used writing a persuasive letter to the bands' agent than posting negative comments here that neither the agent nor the band are reading. I recognize it is your right to state your opinion and I think it is great we all have the freedom to do so. However, if you are frustrated, disgusted, or flat out angry about how things have turned out for this tour for you, I encourage you to try to refocus your energy into more productive actions.

OMG!! thanks for coming to Nashville. i can't wait to see u !!

oh mr vedder...i like you :)
*fingers hands legs toes and eyes crossed!*

Albany is right down the road from here (Mass Pike - Rt 90), so close enough for me, I'm stoked! I caught PJ in Albany in '03, great show!!!

Hopefully the cards play out right????

Peace Friends!

I feel bad for the poor people who have to read all the negative comments...

Not ONE person has mentioned that PJ is going to drop a new album sometime towards the end of 09', & most likely go on a large scale tour, possibly like the 06' World Tour...

So all you Euro-peons stop whining, because I did Europe, spent a boat load of money, & U.S. fans didn't get ANY favoritism, although it was clearly stated there would be...

Not to mention that PJ might be coming from a Moral/Ethical perspective, trying to cut down on fans spending excessive amounts of time/money to see a 2-3 hour show...
Which reminds me:
Longroad- Take the "$20,000 you spent" seeing PJ & donate to some of their charities, or reduce your carbon footprint...
I hope you people are as active in your efforts to help your fellow Man & the Planet, as you are crying about this & that...
Maybe PJ will call one of you up and ask if they can play in your living room!

MOST IMPORTANT:

Thank you Eddie & the Guys for continuing to give so much time, energy, passion, & focus to their craft, without which many of us would be without the GREAT things we ALL love about PJ.

I LOVE PEARL JAM!!

Nice post DreamOfAngels, I think we are on the same page.

We all have a choice.

Awesome...Albany is first on the list...can't wait!!!

omg please play both nights in albany can not wait wooooo!

S E A T T L E ? Not on this tour or Ed's last tour....show some love.

ummmmm where is the Love for Boston !!!!!!

Please come back Eddie !!!!!!

Thx PJforLife for your straight-shooting comments. None of us would be looking at this nonsense if we didn't think Eddie/PJ were tremendous influences on our lives in how he/they ground us. That being said, the fact that this blog or whatever it purports to be is dominated by "Yay Maui", "Give Detroit a break", 'you're exporting xenophobic practices through your ticket sale process' blah, blah, blah is really puerile and totally misses the point -- THE MUSIC. I saw Eddie last summer in Upper Manhattan at the United Palace Theater and he was phenomenal -- his angst-ridden soul laid bare in the scaled down environment and yet his sense of irony/humor still quite intact. Kinda like the difference between seeing a Bob Mould solo show vs a full blown Husker Du show -- both real satisfying, but the larger concept always seems to thrill with greater intensity. So yes, Eddie's well worth seeing solo, but would not spend close to a$100/ticket.

Hope I'm Lucky to see ya in Honolulu. Just put in for the pre-sale.

Aloha

You all need to stop complaining and be happy the man is touring. Thanks Ed.

PJforLife - I donate to numerous animal & environmental charities, thanks for your input.
I can't take money out of the $20k I've spent on PJ in the past 15 years becuse that money is GONE. I'm not rich by any means, I used to devote a large percentage of my earnings to PJ - that's before I had a mortgage and other responsibilities.
Please dont lecture me because I am stating outright facts that US fans are given too many privileges in other countries whereby we can't even have the opportunity to purchase fan club tickets to these shows.

I wonder if these shows will at least be allowed to be taped?

yea what's up with that? No Cali??? I'd love to see Ed in solo!!

Man no New Orleans?? Damn...Might have to travel to Memphis...

EDDIE GET YOU ARSE OVER TO EUROPE AND DO A SOLO TOUR THERE!!! AHHHHH

I'm not pinning my hopes to the ticket lottery. I live ten minutes from the Lyric Opera House in Baltimore, and 60 minutes from Philly. I will be at as many of the shows as I can buy tickets for, this will necessitate the use of the hated ticketmaster. The Lyric, in particular, is a smaller venue. I was just there for a Rodney Carrington show a few months ago. I'm honored that Ed (or his people) would choose the STD capital of the free world for two shows. He may wanna "keep it in his pants" while he's here, or else the rest of the tour may be interrupted!! ;)

Balti-sore

i second utah, weve waited long enough

Ed, com'on!!! U can't skip Europe like this....wouldn't you like a summer break @ THE (one and only) ARENA with some loyal friends??? :)

Yes come to Europe, to Czech Republic. We also want to see your show!!!

I like the new ticket purchase plan. It was easy to get on and not have to deal with the chaos of a traffic jam. I understand this means the possibility of not getting the tickets, but I like it a lot better than counting on a "refresh" button to determine your destiny. Bravo to the designers of this plan.

HOPE THIS IS A WARM UP FOR A PJ TOUR
