Joining Flight to Mars for this special event is former Guns & Roses legendary bassist Duff McKagan and his band Loaded, as well as Mike McCready's original band Shadow '86 who will be performing a tribute to Seattle rock legend Jimi Hendrix.

Yeah, that is a great package. Things like this are good because they get rich people to actually spend their money on a good cause. If I was a trust fund baby like some PJ fans, or a succesful doctor, I'd bid on it. What if they can't play instruments, will they get a cow bell instead?

my son is 12 - he finally got to go along to his first show on the 06 tour - and he's already talked about how he's going to play with Mr. McCready on stage one day. the last song he learnt was green disease

just reading this out to him - he stood there with a look of absoloute wonder on his face and said, 'ohhhhhhhh - but id be soo shy - but if i played good, it'd be a non stop shop of bands wanting me'
