NEAT!... not going.
Awesome. Wish i could afford to miss work, i'd actually try for this show..oh well, i still have Memphis three days later thank goodness!!
and i was wondering- why a possible roll over show announcement for memphis which never came to fruition, yet an unexpected added show in nashville? oh well. like i said, pumped to be going to at least one show....
oh man when I saw the headline I thought he added a seattle show and I got all excited. ahah oh well.
have fun Nashville :D
Yeah! 3 shows in 4 days!!
Yeah! 3 shows in 4 days!!
snoogins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
COOOOOOL BEANS
CO-Co-Co-CO-CO-CO-CO-CO-COOOOOOOL BEANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sweet
Can't wait; I drove 6 hours to DC last August; got to meet him. I've not been the same since. I'll drive forever for the same chance.
Fanothejam,
I don't presume to speak for the tenclub, but the public on-sale went very quickly for Nashville and fairly slowly for Memphis, so that's probably why they decided to do it this way.
DETROIT SHOW!!!!!!!!!!! COME ON!!! We need it.
Awesome!
SEATTLE PLEASE!!!
5 Years....NO show.
well, I have tickets to the show at the Ryman on the 18th already....so 2 days in a row would be great.
I wish that they would come within 400 miles of Oklahoma. I havent seen them since 04. I guess they are boycotting the red states or something. Not getting as much play as they used to around my house. Still a fan but not holding my breath on any appearances in this part of the country. Surprised to see them in Nashville I thought Tennessee was a red-state also. Seniority in the Tenclub is begging to seem pointless.
Used to think it would be cool to meet the band but it feels like they don't appreciate their fans in Oklahoma so it no longer seems interesting. Redeem yourself guys. I am starting to prefer Merle to Pearl.
When they announced Eddie's Solo Tour in Maui on June 29th I knew I had to go it's my 25th wedding anniversary only I'm all alone we are separated. I can't think of a better place to heal listening to Eddie in Maui. I scored a 6th row seat. Then I fly over to Honolulu for both shows July 1 & 2. Thanks Eddie!

i figured it was something like that after i posted it. i just assumed since Memphis sold out as well, we'd get that second show they advertised (or teased us with). but based on what i'm seeing on ebay and stub hub and all that, nashville is definitely the harder ticket to get. not knowing the ryman's schedule off the top of my head, if this had been on that friday the 19th, i would have definitely given this show the ol' college try and lived on ramen for the next pay period. oh well... have fun all you peeps in nash vegas!!!
Don't fear heat exhaustion come to Arizona again. It's kind of like the Into The Wild experience just a little warmer:)
what happened to po' old New Yowk Sittee!? I guess the MTA fare hikes really got to Ed...
I like turtles!!!!
I dont understand all the negative feedback every time there is a concert anouncement. Eddie, and or Pearl Jam don't owe any of us anything. They have provided awsome quality music, and the best band/fan relationship there is for 18 years now..What other band do you know of that takes care of their fans that good and makes that kind of music. Find another band wagon if you don't like how they do it. The fan club does everything they can do to provide us with the best opportunity to get a good seat. Some guy on the other page says he spent $20.000 on the band(you make to much) feels he is owed something. Just because they don't come play at your uncles tavern does not make you a victom. Some people make more than others. I just got layed off in March. This is not about me. Well maby it is, From the bottom of my heart I want to thank Eddie, Pearl Jam, and their whole staff for everything they do, have done and will do.
My Dad and I will see you in Nashville Eddie. Peace Be With You!!
Good words
How about NEW ORLEANS..It's been 6 years and counting..I'll be in Atlanta but how about one for the greatest city in the US.
I don't care where Ed or Pearl Jam play just as long as they keep on playing!!! Thank you for a wonderful (nearly) 20 years guys! You are amazing!
(but hey, Phoenix would be cool.... just play an indoor venue!!) :)
Peace and Love!
PJ
Hey Ed...Come to Colorado... Let's Red Rock it...
Knoxville - you will be right there between 17th (Nashville) and 24th (Atlanta)!!!! Tennessee theater = perfect http://www.tennesseetheatre.com/about-us/take-a-virtual-tour/
Thank you!!!!! I'm also sick and tired of reading ungratefull complaints. You summed it up perfectly. I can't wait till june 18th. Scored seats through 10c. If you already have tickets don't be greedy. This is an oppertunity for others who don't have tickets. Let them enjoy what those of us lucky enough to have tix already will be experiencing.
Just put in for tickets for the second Nashville show. Thrilled to have Ed playing in my backyard again. I think that playing Bonnaroo may have softened the guys up to the south again, which is great. My last show was Detroit in '06, so it's been a while. It doesn't matter to me where Ed and/or the Band plays as long as they play. My BFF and I have been taking PJ road trips since the mid 90's--some of the greatest times in my life.
Ed at the Ryman, though, is special. It is, after all, the "Mother Church" of country music, and there's not a bad seat in the house (unless you're stuck behind a pillar). I'm so excited. This is definitely the highlight of my summer. And it looks like we have a PJ tour in the works for the fall. PERFECT!
When will the announcement be for the PJ show @ the Spectrum in Philly before it gets torn down :o(
Thank you Eddie!! I cannot wait until I get to see you in June at the Lyric Opera House in Baltimore. I already got my tickets and I am counting down the days.
This would be my first, I so hope I win, though am seeing in Albany in June
There is a God!!! I got my email & have tickets thru the presale for 6/17 @ the Ryman!! This is going to be the best bday ever...2 nights of Eddie
Hey come to AZ OK We miss you here.
CRAP! I Missed the PreSale What the friggggg! Ugh, at least i get to see em on the 18th, when do the tix go on sale to the public?
I just checked on ticketmaster for the 6/17 show & there are still really good seats available. Better than what I was able to get for the 6/18 show during the gen pub sale. Good luck!
Thanks Eddie! We got tickets for the June 17th show through Ten Club and I am so excited that I will be spending my 40th birthday with YOU! I have seen several artists at the Ryman auditorium and it is one of my favorite venues. I can't wait! Everythings better with Vedder!
Whens the band coming back to Minnesota? Its only cold here 9 months out of the year! Been a while since we've seen a show. Need some jam for my bread.
Hey Eddie, are you ever gonna take the flight to mars along with ya.
Thanks for the good years no doubt about that... I pay ten club dues and support the band still but I haven't seen a Xmas single in years. Every now and then I get order forms for merchandise which usually fold out to a poster which I appreciate. It doesn't matter how much a person makes, it has to do with feeling respected by a group you support. I love to see Pearl Jam live and every time a tour announcement comes out it is like a slap in the face for most of us, especially when any group you support ignores your part of the country and goes to another country and plays for them. I still do my best to convert new Pearl Jam fans.(I introduce it the band actually does the rest with great music) Point is I will always be a huge fan. Its like when you take a girls V card, after that you can be mean to them, call them names, tell your friends, and they still want it.
whos all going to him him with me in albany?
please come to MA!! Last year in Harlem was amazing.
Last summer saw Eddie at Bonnaroo, MSG BOTH nights, Mansfield MA, and solo in Harlem....I need to see more this summmerrrrrrr
Flying in from Texas for this one, it's so great to have a friend in Nashville! CYA there!
I am sooooooooo excited to see Eddie 6/8th in Albany...Have never been able to see him or pearl jam!! was never lucky enough to get tickets...not any more!!!
Ed, we want to see you in Europe!!!!
Man, I hope you are very young, still in high school or just plain dumb because that last comment you made was very disrespectful, crude and immature. You need to come up with something a little more creative to get your point across. You are an embarrassment to EV fans as well as PJ fans.
What about Boston!!! I am driving out to Albany, NY, BUT would love to see him in Boston too.. :) I will be 5 months prego and can't wait to share the experience with my little peanut.
Woman, I hope you are old or in a nursing home or just plain smart because that last comment you made was very respectful, refined, and mature. You need to check your punctuation before you post a comment and call somebody dumb. You are an embarrassment to the english language as well as EV. I just got my Xmas single in the mail today and it is sweet. Thanks.
I am an adult and I probably make more money a year than you do. (means I'm probably smarter than you too). I am creative.
I hear you, my very first PJ show was in OKC Fairgrounds in 93-94??. I have been living in Dallas since 99 and have only seen them 2 times here since then. We have had to fly to Little Rock(Now Big Rock),Ak, also St. Paul, Minn for two short nights with Tom Petty and then to Hawaii in Dec,06 with U2 for another 1 1/2 hour set(just a tease). We would have flown to Chicago for my birthday had I known we were going to get two nights and could have grabbed some 10C tix, now all that is left is the scalper variety. If they were to make a stop in DFW or OKC, they would recive a nice warm welcome from all of us starving fans who need a super duper dose from my personal favorite and one of the worlds greatest bands! Please do not hold it against us that HE was from/lives here, we sure the F*&% did not vote for him.
Mahalo!
Mike aka Ten Man
Hello everyone I am a long time member of the ten club but new to the community so hello! I tried to see Eddie in Los Angeles last year here in Los Angeles, couldnt find a ticket anywhere, couldnt get through when they when on sale, ten club I guess I am not high on the senority list, went both nights to the venue to see if anyone was selling them outside and to my suprise no one in sight, incredible!! So on June 20,2009 I am traveling to Memphis Tenn. to see Eddie, even got an orchestra seat I am very excited!!!! Really I hope that he or they come to Los Angeles this year.
jbzgrl
Montreal SHOW!!!! COME ON!!! We need it.
I drove all the way down from NYC because all shows in my area were sold out. This is the first time I've seen EV in concert. HE WAS AMAZING! It was interesting to see such different cultures (TN vs. NY) have something in common. The whole crowd was so into it. The highlight was when he sang 'Elderly woman....'. My favorite. He also played a different version of 'Better Man'.
Looking forward to going the other concerts PJ has planned later this year.
I think that is very important for Spanish people that Ed come back here!!
But we need a close show, because the last time in Madrid with, I don't know maybe, six thousand or more people is impossible to enjoy with the show, at least for me.
When are you coming back 'down under'? We miss pj here in Australia. Come see us soon.
Please come to Phoenix that's all.
Saw the two Baltimore shows and they were incredible. I hope TenC puts out the boots for Ed and the other guys' solo shows soon.
i love tuna x

To Eddie and the band,
PLEASE come to Minnesota!!!! We haven't seen you in soooo long! We miss you! Love you guys so much!
Saw their great show in Columbia, SC in Jun-08. Still waiting on their return show he stated at the concert. Enjoy their shows to all the fans that get to see them this year.
Saw you guys in Newark, Buffalo and both MSG shows. You've been my fave band since I saw you for the first time when I was 14 in 1995 and still are. Wish I could afford to go to the European shows :( PLEASE come back to NY SOON!!! Oh and Eddie, thank you for reading my letter I gave you in Newark and for playing BRY at the garden like I requested :) You are AWESOME!
Man, i wanna see that concert. They need to make an appearance in Texas sometime soon :)
